It’s Ok To Ask For Help…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I watched a movie yesterday for a class I am taking on addiction. I have not been quite the same since. I am not too much of a movie watcher, I usually just love to read and journal. The movie, Snow Babies was hard to watch for this school assignment. I can’t tell you the emotions I experienced, as I cried out to God himself to visit our world with an awakening among our youth.

I wake up several times in the night thinking about the issue of addiction. While our world is fighting over every issue possible, we are losing generations to drugs and alcohol. As adults, it takes all the faith we can muster up to keep our minds straight and yet we expect the youth of this generation, to just do it. God help us. No God- help them. Help them know who they are. May they know it is you who identifies them. May they believe it is you that loves them and that your love was enough to die for them.

Let’s pray for the youth of our nation(s) today. Let’s ask God to pour out his spirit on them. What are you willing to do to save a generation? Ask God and then get involved. All the riches you can obtain on this side of heaven, really is meaningless. We all know the old saying, you can’t take it with you when you go. Know where you are going today and take as many with you as you can. Amen? Amen.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for courage for anyone fighting addiction to ask for help. It takes a strong person to admit they are losing hope. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (Proverbs 13:12)

Father, fill every longing, every void with your presence today we pray. Show yourself strong on behalf of the youth of this nation and to the nations of the world.

Father, you are the best parent, the best Father and your Word tells us in Isaiah 52:12 for the Lord will go before us, the God of Israel will be our rear guard. Thank you for even helping us when we were less than perfect. Thank you for being our rear guard. Hem our communities in, oh God, we pray.

Father, shine your light in the darkness and pour out your spirit like you promised in the book of Joel and once again in the book of Acts. We believe. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Bless a youth today, encourage them to stand strong and it’s ok if they need help.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
