Lamentations 3:40
After my cancer surgery, I underwent heavy radiation. It burned my chest wall, destroying tiny channels which normally drain away lymph fluid. My right arm is now swollen with toxins. However, gentle massage unblocks the congestion and drains the toxins into alternate channels. Isn’t the body amazing? More astounding is the way the body of Christ repairs itself. When the channels between Christians become damaged and blocked, things can get pretty toxic. But Lamentations 3:40 provides a remedy, “Let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the Lord.” Stubborn sins cause toxic congestion between Christians, but things can open up through channels of prayer and soul-examination.
