Peace For A Broken World…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning, the very first thing I felt to pray was peace. Peace on earth, good will to all men. Sometimes, I think people forget to whom created the heavens and the earth. They forget that he is the founder.
People will do just about anything to get their own way. It is much better to submit to the plan that God has. I believe it was Joyce Meyer I heard once say, I think I am right, but I may be wrong. Those words have stayed with me.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we come to you today and pray in unison, in faith believing, the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Psalm 24 –The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty—he is the King of glory.
Peace beautiful people, peace. Keep your eyes looking up to where your help cometh and stay in peace. (Psalm 121:1)
