Evil prevails when good men do nothing

When Good People Do Nothing

This is a very hard pill to swallow…….look what we have created as a nation: More U.S. troops in Washington DC than in Iraq, Afghanistan combined.
I posted this on my personal Facebook page last night!
NO CALL FOR VIOLENCE ALLOWED ON MY PAGE! Last night on my Facebook page a man posted a threat of violence at the U.S. Capitol! This is totally unacceptable! This is being reported to the FBI! I will not tolerate such postings on my Facebook Page! I am neither a Republican or Democrat, I am a Man of God, Pastor and News Reporter from a Biblical Worldview. I do not take a political view on anything. I beleive the politics is destroying our Country! I will not allow my Facebook page to turn into Satanic postings! Respect for people is at an all-time low in my 64 years! This is my Facebook page! I never post bad things on the pages of my wonderful friends in Jesus! This is the second threat now that will be reported to the FBI and AG of Minnesota. This one came out of Minnesota. I call on all Pastors and all people of God to denounce violence now!
This whole movement of violence is Satanic! It is time for Pastors and the people of God to call an end to this great threat to our beloved America! The Church is being to quite! Our Country is being destroyed!
Dr. Jim Dension Posted this at FGGAM this morning: The biblical stance on violence is clear: “Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways” (Proverbs 3:31). We are “to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle” (Titus 3:2). The “works of the flesh” include “enmity,” “strife,” “fits of anger,” and “rivalries, dissensions, divisions” (Galatians 5:19–20). In a command that speaks directly to those plotting violence in our cities, God says, “Do not plan evil against your neighbor” (Proverbs 3:29).
The Christian response to those with whom we disagree is to pray for them (Matthew 5:44) and seek reconciliation with them (Matthew 18:15). In a democracy, we can utilize our governmental process to seek change (cf. Romans 13:1–7; 1 Peter 2:13–17). Christians are to “keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable” so that “they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation” (1 Peter 2:12).
“Only love can do that”
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who was born on this day in 1929, observed, “The beauty of nonviolence is that in its own way and in its own time it seeks to break the chain reaction of evil.” He also famously declared: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Jesus is the source of light (John 1:5; 8:12) and love (Mark 10:21; 1 John 4:8).
How will you help someone experience his light and love today?

FROM YESTERDSAY:

I figured this was coming…..many threats are out there. The FBI has been flooded with tips. I have been at the news desk since 4am today. I will do my best to keep up with all the breaking news. Please pray for me as we bring you a Biblical Worldview not a Political Worldview

Gov. Lujan Grisham declares state of emergency due to threat of riots

From earlier today:

We are praying for peace. We pray all protestors will be peaceful. President Trump is calling for no violence! I am praying the New Mexico State Police will be at the State Capital also, as the Santa Fe Police had their hands full after the mess late last year with the statue on the plaza. Protesters tear down obelisk in Santa Fe Plaza I called Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s office and asked for her plans about possible violence as we have not heard a word from her. We need Pastors to speak out against violence! Peaceful protests I understand that right of course, but not VIOLENCE! Where are the leaders of New Mexico at such a time as this??? I hear nothing from the Dems and Republicans on this situation! Why the silence? I would have any remaining units of the National Guard posted at the State Capital. Better be safe than sorry! I was taught early in my life my Dad, that it is better to over prepare than under prepare.

From Dr. Jim Denison:

We have learned in the last year that medical science, for all its contributions to our lives, cannot prevent new viruses or protect us from all existing diseases and disasters. Technological advances cannot prevent the spread of digital misinformation, conspiracy theories, and pornography. Political leaders and parties cannot solve all the challenges of our fallen world and sometimes make them worse.

Chuck Colson was right: The kingdom of God will not arrive on Air Force One, no matter who is occupying it.

When you look at the pictures from FOX NEWS, it is so very tragic……….armed troops inside our Capitol, preparing for the worst. Looking at the pictures in the FOX NEWS report and they are also all over twitter made me very sad for our Country and our children and fire generations. This is not Iran or Syria! This is América! Officials ramp up Capitol security ahead of Biden inauguration amid threats of armed protests

Are You Acting on Faith? For faith without works is what? Dead!

Pastor Leonard Navarre in Lubbock, Texas texted this to me just as I was writing this post………

I don’t know who wrote this;
“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the Beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200
Years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From bondage into spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to contentment;
From contentment to complacency;
From complacency to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.”
