ABQ Senator Mark Moores (R- ABQ) pointed out that the commitees and legislature were unwilling to have an honest conversation about the alarming aspects of SB 10: “we’re talking about up to the milisecond before birth abortions.”
Not only are HB 7 & SB 10 up-to-the milisecond before birth abortion bills, they also will remove the state’s only explicit consciece protection. Don’t be deceived, this is the
publicly stated goal of the abortion lobby behind SB 10 & HB 7, as they seek to force NM medical professionals to assist or even perform abortions up to birth, “through litigation, advocacy and public education.”
Scroll down to select “Senate chambers” or “House chambers.”
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
CALL: EVERY MEMBER of the NM Senate and House, tell them to VOTE NO on SB 10 & HB 7, the aboriton up-to-birth bills. Set up a phone bank with your friends and church groups.
SHARE THIS EMAIL WITH FRIENDS, FAMILY, GROUPS AND CHURCHES. WE MUST KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!
Former Republican Rep. Phelps Anderson Votes With Abortion Lobby Again
UPDATE: HB 160 COVID Protocols at Abortion Facilities
House Health Committee Hearing Tables Bill
Roswell area State Representative Phelps Anderson voted against HB 160, the pro-life bill to hold abortion clinics responsible for COVID safety. This is the second time the rogue state representative has voted with the aboriton lobby and against pro-life principles.
Read more here.
HB 160 would hold abortion facilities accountable to uphold safety protocols by requiring those who travel to New Mexico for abortion services to quarantine or self-isolate, since Governor Grisham declared abortion an essential service. New Mexico abortion clinics solicit women and girls from out-of-state to travel here to obtain elective late-term abortions and circumvent other laws like parental involvement requirements– but are not required to quarantine.
Thank you to Rep. Rebecca Dow for introducing HB 160 and for expert witness testinomy from Abortion on Trial, Mike Seibel. Also thank you to Rep. Stefani Lord, Rep. Luis Terrazas for voting YES on HB 160. NMAFL’s Elisa Martinez also offered public testimony in favor of HB 160, citing the lack of adequate protections and quarantine protocols for out-of-state patients.
