More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance.
Romans 5:3
God sees our suffering and pain. In fact, Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
God’s objective is to love us and have us love Him in return.
Unfortunately, not everyone wants to live like that. There are evil people out there who are God haters.
We are given a free will, some will choose evil because they’re walking in evil. It becomes somewhat easy to blame God, but God did not create us to live like this.
Sometimes we have to enter the pain. There is no other route to true joy. We might never had know true joy if we hadn’t experienced despair.
Our suffering can be explained as being the result of the fact that we live in a fallen world, where we all have been affected.
The Apostle Paul said, “I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
If you read the book of Job in the Bible, you will see that this book was all about suffering, but in the end, God restored Job’s fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
You see, God has all eternity to more than compensate for all your sufferings in this life.
There is coming a time where there will be no more suffering.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Revelation 21:4
But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
1 Peter 4:13
Praying for those hurting today, God bless you!
