The Church in America is losing ground, but meanwhile Countries with the Fastest Growing Evangelical Population
I have said for years…THE GREAT COMMISSION! it was stressed to me in my growth as a Pastor at Church of God in Los Lunas, New Mexico by Pastor Jim Montoya..THE GREAT COMMISSION! We would hold revivals in they city park and at the Church, we would go everywhere carrying out THE GREAT COMMISSION! I have said for years, this has been one of the main failures of the Church. I have been a Christian for years, I have been a Sunday School teacher, in children’s ministry, Christian Radio station manager, newscaster and a Pastor and what I have seen over the last 20 years right before my eyes in what the late, great man of God, Chuck Colson talked about and stated about 15 years ago on KKIM Christian radio, “The Church in America has turned into a high school pep rally.” I carry that with me everyday as a Pastor and here at FGGAM in everything I do and we do as a team…are we a high school pep rally? or are we bringing forth a Biblical Worldview on everything we do and also teaching people they need JESUS as their Lord and savior! I also hit the road, like yesterday and try to bring the joy of the LORD to many! So many Churches are not baptizing people, not helping raise mature Christians in their communities, too many have fallen in love preaching to the choir. Its not just Pastors, but all of us…we all need to look into the mirror and ask the Lord, “Lord am I doing all I can for You? What would You have me do LORD?” My dear friends Ben and Jerry Lucero of Indigo Mortgage go to the gas station/convenient store down the road from their office building at lunch and evangelize to the people outside. Wear a mask and GO FOR JESUS!
Be salt and light. I have come to comfort the inflicted and inflict the comfortable, that is one of my callings by God. Yes, I ruffle some feathers mow and then, in love, but that is my calling, My life is all about GOD and gapping forth and brining the good news of JESUS to one person at a time.
If you are comfortable…check in with God and see if you are doing what HE wants you to do.
We all are accountable to God.
We have more Church programs than anytime in history, more Church buildings, more books, more music, social media, podcasts, ZOOM, the latest microphones and cameras, more Church meetings, more prayer meetings…..but the Church is losing its influence everyday in America! Satan is having his way with so many because so many are not firmly planted in GOD! A slight wind blows them over to Satan. I believe one of the main reasons for this is people do not read their Bibles everyday, I am not talking about a verse or two but in depth, many then fail to carry what they just read and apply to their daily lives. We all should be a walking Bible, what I mean by that is the life we show the world….do we show the world JESUS?….or something else with our words and actions and how we live our lives. I glean Facebook everyday to take the temperature of the world and I am always disappointed to see some of my friends behaving badly on Facebook….I just shake my head…people must feel safe to do nasty behind a computer and not in person. God should always be your filter! Put that God filter on! Read chapters in the Bible, just not verses.
It is so very easy to say your are a Christian, but what are you showing the world? There are so many cults out there right now in America I cannot keep up with them. Too many Christians have taken that bait of Satan. Cults have invaded Churches and politics in America. Many in America are accepting evil. We all need to be firmly planted in JESUS to withstand these strong winds of Satan that blowing across the world! That wind smells of hell. Anchor yourself in GOD ALMIGHTY AND HIS WORDS.
This is a time for all Pastors to be STAND STRONG FOR GOD! Get back to the basics! GOD AND THE BIBLE! WE ARE LOSING AMERICA AS WE KNEW IT. What America used to call bad behavior is now called, normal behavior I guess. This new normal is unacceptable! Paul of the Bible must be up in Heaven shaking his head in disgust, wondering if we have read his letters.
From Sam Koo of CHURCHLEADERS: Monarchs are authoritative. Presidents are powerful. They can direct and command their citizens with their words and policies. But we serve a King who is far more sovereign and powerful than any human king. This King of creation spoke and indeed continues to speak to us through his Word. No matter how upside-down our society and our political world may become, God has given us his immovable, certain, and authoritative book to live by. So read to each other from it, knowing that the book in your hands holds more authority than any kings or presidents in history.

Words of Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) President Russell Moore:
The sight of “Jesus Saves” and “God Bless America” signs by those violently storming the Capitol is about more than just inconsistency. It is about a picture of Jesus Christ and of his gospel that is satanic. The mixing of the Christian religion with crazed and counter-biblical cults such as Q-Anon is telling the outside world that this is what the gospel is. That’s a lie, and it is blasphemous against a holy God.
An Unholy Alliance: Christianity and Nationalism
According to a new study by Lifeway Research, 49 percent of Protestant pastors in the US say they frequently hear members of their congregation repeat conspiracy theories. Today, we will examine one such theory, then we will use it as a case study to emphasize the urgency of reason for our culture and our faith.
Devotees of the QAnon conspiracy theory have been arrested for murder, kidnapping, terrorism, vandalizing churches, derailing a train, and threatening public officials. Protesters claiming that coronavirus is not real and that vaccines are dangerous recently shut down a mass vaccination site at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
More than 500 pastors and ministry leaders of diverse theological backgrounds have signed an open letter condemning Christian nationalism. The letter directly links Christian nationalism to the riots that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and calls the ideology a “perversion of the Christian faith.”
“As leaders in the broad evangelical community, we recognize and condemn the role Christian Nationalism played in the violent, racist, anti-American insurrection at the United States Capitol on January 6,” says the letter. “We recognize the damage done by radicalized Christian Nationalism in the world, the church, and in the lives of individuals and communities.”
