Does Your Church Have These 4 B’s?

Man Oh man! Do I know two Churches that have the 4 B’s!!!!! PTL!!!! I was so super blessed to be with my treasure Sharon when I preached at Majesty Worship Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico this past Sunday!!! (I am pictured with Pastor Alfonso at the very top) It is a Church that has the 4 B’s!!! Pastor’s Alfonso and Patricia do a super work for JESUS! The other Church, is one that I served at for nearly 8 years! The First Baptist Church of Reserve! I am so super blessed that I get to fill in for my buddy Pastor Sheldon Wolf this Sunday! I love all the folks in Reserve! I learned so much pastoring there, it was better than any seminary! Salt of the earth folks! Amen! I know there are so many other Churches that have the 4 B’s…but these are two of my favorites that shine for JESUS!!! JESUS!!! JESUS!!!

BIBLE MEDITATION

“On this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT

Any great church is built on these four things that begin with the letter B:

The Book—the inspired, error-free Word of God.
The Blood—the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Birth—the new birth of a new Christian.
The Blessed Hope—the coming again of the Lord Jesus Christ.

God tells us in Hebrews 10:25, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.” He wants us to find a Bible-believing church and connect with the people there.

ACTION POINT

If you’re looking at a church, find out if it takes a stand on the Book, the Blood, the Birth, and the Blessed Hope. If it doesn’t, saturate that place with your absence. Look for one that does.

It’s Time for Some Good News | Part 2

Romans 4:1

In Romans 1-3, Paul addressed the fate of heathens, hypocrites, and humanity. But Romans 4 is a passage for those who believe it’s time for some good news, which is grace. In this message, Adrian Rogers explains what Abraham discovered, David described and Paul disclosed about grace.
