Your Life Issues Doesn’t Surprise God…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Snow and rain is in the forecast today. Maybe that’s why I slept a little extra this morning. April showers I expect, remember the promise of May flowers? I like the sound of rain, but snow…..Hmmm.
I wanted to share again from a time I was part of a team doing ministry on the streets that took evangelism to a new level for me. I was a bit challenged at first, but I saw the results first hand. Our team would go outside night clubs, on the streets at night and we would meet people. We would pray with them and ask God to drop something in one of our teams heart for that person. Sometimes the people were intoxicated, on drugs, homeless, prostituting, sometimes they were not. It didn’t change a thing. Their life issues didn’t bother God, so we didn’t let them bother us either. We looked straight at their beating heart.
God always had something to say to every person we ministered to. It was there on the streets, in that city (second largest city in the U.S.) that I discovered how much God loved people. People didn’t need to live up to my expectations, how I thought they should live, look, or how things appeared. God was looking at their heart. He met them right where they were at, gave them encouraging words and direction for their lives from total strangers. That was a big change on how to evangelize for me. That experience has never left me and I never want to be part of anything that doesn’t show his love and mercy to a hurting world. How about you? Ready for revival?

Father, thank you for reigning (raining) down on us today. Father, thank you that you died for people. Thank you for mercy and grace. None of us are worthy to receive what you have freely given for mankind. May we all keep our eyes looking to the hills from where our help cometh.
Father, move in by the power of your Holy Spirit, in our nation(s) today. Rain (reign) right here in Aroostook County, Maine and rain (reign) down to all the nations of the world, we pray. We are in need of our founder of the heavens and the earth to move on in to rebuild the ancient ruins in peoples lives. Amen.
