Ever since we moved here in 1995, I have reported for many years on the extreme darkness in New Mexico with Dewey’s Daily Cup starting in 1997 and now here at FGGAM. This past legislative session in New Mexico we saw such dark legislation pass. I want to thank all those in the legislature who are standing strong against this extreme darkness over the state of New Mexico. It is going to get worse now with legalized pot and home delivery of booze. We are going to see more of these horrific news reports.

Lubbock, Texas Votes to Become State’s Largest ‘Sanctuary City For The Unborn’

Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.

WOW! I pray this happens in Albuquerque and all over America!!! Pray with us!!!

PRAISE GOD FOR THE PEOPLE OF LUBBOCK!!!!!!!!!!! Can your Village, town or city make this happen for God’s babies???? Let all Christians stand in the gap for God’s babies like the lovely folks are doing on Lubbock! My favorite hymn is “Onward Christian Soldiers” Will you and your community go forward for God’s babies? Pastor Leonard and Diana Navarre who lived in New Mexico and moved to Lubbock about 4 or 5 years ago, Love Lubbock, low crime..etc….Our friends Shonda Savage Whitworth and Eldon Whitworth also moved to Lubbock. I traveled there for a Church Conference about 10 years ago and found the city clean and robust with Christians! What just happened in Lubbock can happen in every community in America if God’s people will pray, carry out The Great Commission, reaching the lost and coming together as one body and leaving denominations behind. All for God! What are you going to do?

For us folks in New Mexico who live under a thickening dark cloud of death, (horrific  abortion law, assisted suicide all passed in the legislature this year, plus the passage of feeding addictions, recreational pot and home delivery of booze) I found this news so very encouraging I about went through the roof all fired up and ready to hit the streets at 4am!!!

FROM THE CHRISTIAN POST:

More than 62% of voters in Lubbock, Texas more than 250,000 residents voted to approve the referendum, while less than 38% voted against it.

In an interview with The Christian Post, Mark Lee Dickson, the founder of the Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn movement that lobbies nationwide to pass ordinances banning abortion at the local level, cheered Saturday’s “landslide” victory for the pro-life movement.More Here from the Christian Post

THE TEXAS TRIBUNE REPORTS: The outcome could prompt a lawsuit over what opponents say is an unconstitutional ban on abortion. The vote comes less than a year after Planned Parenthood opened a clinic in the West Texas city.

In 2015 Chuck Swindoll wrote this message on the Sanctity of Life, It is one of the best I have ever read on God’s babies. Please take time to read it.

Billy Graham’s final campaign

I recently read Greg Laurie’s insightful book, Billy Graham: The Man I Knew. Laurie, one of the most effective pastors and evangelists in America today, considered Billy Graham his spiritual father. His book movingly describes their very close friendship and offers us a fascinating window into Dr. Graham’s personal life and global ministry.

Laurie was present for Dr. Graham’s 417th and final evangelistic campaign in June 2005 in New York City. The three-day event drew more than 230,000 people. Dr. Graham was eighty-six at the time and dependent on a walker due to a pelvic fracture.

Laurie writes: “Everyone knew this was the last time this warrior for Christ would speak publicly. As he was assisted to the platform, he looked out at the crowd and said, ‘God loves you!’ pointing in one direction. ‘And you,’ pointing in the other direction.”

And you.

From Charles Stanley:

How to Walk Wisely

Ephesians 5:1-17

Godly wisdom enables us to view things as the Lord does and to respond according to biblical principles. This discernment isn’t automatic, but it is available to all believers who “try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord” (Eph. 5:10; James 1:5). And the best way to know what pleases God is to read His Word.

When we resolve to honor the Lord in all we do, say, and think, it transforms the way we make decisions. Instead of following natural instincts or sinful impulses, we’ll seek God’s viewpoint in a given situation. And when we want to know what He says about certain topics, Scripture will become our first resource, rather than our friends or the media.

With so many voices clamoring for us to follow worldly paths, we can’t afford to be careless in how we live. We can either walk in the world’s darkness or God’s light. The first option leads to foolishness, but the other is the way to goodness, righteousness, and truth.

Pleasing the Lord and conforming to His likeness are always the best choice. Ask for wisdom today, and God will guide you to live as children of light (Eph. 5:8).
