Proclaiming His Praises
I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of
our God. He is the Rock his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong upright and just is he.
Deuteronomy 32:3-4
You can offer thanksgiving with such confidence because of who he is – a God of love , faithfulness, holiness and justice. When you praise God despite your circumstances you are affirming His power and victory over those circumstances.
Three important results flow from your praises
God receives the glory
Your faith is increased and you are energized by the joy of the Lord that accompanies praise
The enemy is terrified and his plans are confounded
2 Chronicles 20:22 As they began to sing and praise , the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
Sing to the Lord! Give praise to the Lord ! He recues the life of the needy from the hands of the wicked. Jeremiah 20:13
Be encouraged by the Word of the Lord and give him praise!
