FGGAM NEWS received this news release last night from the New Mexico GOP House:

Legislative Democrats Protect Governor’s Veto of Unemployment Insurance Payments

Santa Fe, NM- The New Mexico Legislative Council (LC) met today to discuss legislative interim matters. House Republican Whip Rod Montoya (Farmington) moved to formally ask that the LC discuss and address potential issues arising from Governor Lujan Grisham’s vetoes of billions of dollars, which included protections for thousands of small businesses affected by the Governors shut down, in this year’s budget.

“For the Legislative Council to not address this matter is outrageous,” said House Republican Whip Rod Montoya (Farmington). “Not too long ago, I voted with bipartisan colleagues to sue a Republican Governor over similar budget vetoes, it is amazing how polarized the politicians have become under these Democrat leaders.”

House Republicans asked House Speaker Brian Egolf and Senate Pro Tem Mimi Stewart for these issues to be addressed on the next LC agenda in a letter on April 21, 2021. House Republicans have yet to hear back from either Egolf or Stuart, and both blocked the issue from being discussed at today’s meeting. Egolf did indicate that perhaps a response to the weeks old letter might be coming.

“This is total abuse of power. We requested that the Governor’s vetoes be discussed weeks ago, to protect the separation of powers, yet the Speaker has gone out of his way to not only ignore the request but also deny the public justice in the billions that Lujan Grisham is blocking from being spent,” said House Republican Leader Jim Townsend (Artesia). “The Legislature funded $1.2 billion in very important projects and initiatives, and this Governor and complicit Democrat leaders have ensured that that money will not go to unemployment, scholarships, and road projects as intended- instead they are giving a blank check to a Governor who has enjoyed limitless power for a year and isn’t ready to give up the reigns.”

The Governor’s veto pen axed $1.2 billion in federal dollars allocated to various government programs. Significantly, the Governor vetoed $600 million that would be used for the New Mexico Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund, which has been depleted by Lujan Grisham in her year-plus economic shutdown. The unemployment fund’s resources are paid by local businesses, but the State of New Mexico was forced to borrow hundreds of millions of dollars from the federal government to maintain unemployment benefits when the fund went broke in September 2020.

“Over the last year thousands of businesses were forced to close through no fault of their own, and tens of thousands lost their jobs,” said Representative Rebecca Dow (R-TorC). “The Legislature appropriated $600 million to the Unemployment Trust fund to keep businesses from having to pay for the shutdown and now because of this veto, businesses are left with the tab. I am so disappointed that my colleagues in the legislature would sit by and let this happen to our business community.”

The vetoes by the Michelle Lujan Grisham were the following:

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $600 million to stabilize the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $5 million for reemployment services

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $100 million from LEDA funds that directly support community economic opportunities

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $100 million from the Lottery Scholarship

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $200 million from DOT major road projects

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $25 million from funds to assist housing assistance, small businesses, non-profits, and tourism and hospitality organizations impacted by COVID-19

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $20.5 million to state parks and the state fair (which both have been impacted during the Governor’s shutdowns)

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $84.4 million in local projects across the state

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $10 million in tourism funds

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $50 million for Medicaid

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $20 million for early childhood education

·         Lujan Grisham vetoed $5 million in senior citizen program funds

I cannot beleive this is what the people of New Mexico want!!!! Heaven help us!!!!

Satan is having his way with many in New Mexico! I know a few Pastors who preach on such evils as abortion, assisted suicide, booze, pot, gambling and other such evils…I pray more will. I pray more Christians will carry out The Great Commission.
From the writings of Billy Graham:

Satan is a mighty prince with hosts of demons at his command, and he has set up his kingdom on Earth. His power and position are revealed in the Holy Scriptures. Confusion about the personality of the devil has resulted in large measure from the caricatures of him that became popular during the Middle Ages. To allay their fear of the devil, people tried to laugh at him and pictured him as a foolish, grotesque creature with horns and a long tail. They put a pitchfork in his hand and a feeble-minded leer on his face, and then proclaimed: “Who’s afraid of a ridiculous figure like this?”

The truth is that the devil is a creature of intelligence and resourcefulness. He was once a sublime figure who decided to use his divine endowments for his own aims instead of God’s. His reasoning is brilliant, his plans ingenious, and his logic well-nigh irrefutable. God’s mighty adversary is no bungling creature with horns and tail — he is a prince of lofty stature, crafty and cunning, able to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself, and able to turn things to his own advantage. He is unrelenting and cruel. The devil is not, however, all-powerful, omniscient, or omnipresent.

Drunk Driving – The Devil’s Delight Part 2

Questions for you: What instantly changed the lives of six people as well as the lives of all their loved ones? What really caused the tragic death of two children on a New Mexico Interstate because the speeding car they were in was being driven by a 23-year-old… drunk mother? Was it alcohol? Was it “something else”? What exactly was it?

Here is what we do know about the tragedy as reported by the Albuquerque news, “At 3 AM, Tuesday April 1, 2021, police were called to the scene of a horrific car crash where a four-door Chevy collided head on into a concrete barrier north of Albuquerque’s I-40. Excessive speed and alcohol played a role in the crash. Inside the car, in the front seats were two 23-year-old-mothers, and in the back seats were four children. Each of the drunk mothers lost one of their children in the crash: a boy under one year old, and a girl under 10 years old. Both mothers will be charged with two counts of abandonment or abuse of a child resulting in death, and two counts of abandonment or abuse of a child resulting in great bodily injury.”

The two innocent children were instantly robbed of their earthly lives: I know they immediately went to be with Jesus our Lord and Creator. As for the survivors, they too were robbed of their lives but in a different way, a far much different way: The other two children will probably never see their mothers again because those two women will be in state prisons living a hellish existence during their remaining time here on earth. But even worse: those two surviving children will bare the physical and soulish scars that will haunt them during their brief stay here on earth. The families will bare the shame and the “what ifs” of that terrible time. So, it is a lose lose situation for all those left amongst the living and directly involved… all because of aberrant behavior on the part of two immature and selfish young women. Or is it?

In my article, Drunk Driving – The Devil’s Delight written seven years ago, read it and you will discover that it is still a very timely article. The only thing that has changed are the shameful rankings in the “States with the Most Drunk Drivers” section.  Back then New Mexico was not listed in the top ten.  (Side note: Just below those top ten you will see Scripture verses regarding drunkenness that are well worth revisiting.)

Today, New Mexico shamefully ranks as number 9 as you’ll see in this article. So, what happened with that? How come New Mexico, after being out of the top ten, “suddenly” appears in the top ten?

The Bible shows us that sin is the transgression of the law of God (1 John 3:4and rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7Joshua 1:18). Sin had its beginning with Lucifer, the most beautiful and powerful of the angels. Not satisfied with his position, he pridefully desired to be higher than God, and that was his hellish downfall; the beginning of sin (Isaiah 14:12-15). Renamed Satan, he brought sin to the human race in the Garden of Eden, where he tempted Adam and Eve with the same enticement, “you shall be like God.” Genesis 3 describes Adam and Eve’s rebellion against God and against His command. Since that time, sin has been passed down through all the generations of mankind and we, Adam’s descendants, have inherited sin from him. Romans 5:12 tells us that through Adam sin entered the world, and so death was passed on to all men because “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). The Bible also tells us that sin will abound in the latter days.

So, basically sin is anything that is contraryto the will of God. Sin entered this once perfect world and now a very evil world because we willfully chose to turn away from God. Once sin infected us, it took over our heart and soul and divided us from God. And the only thing that can bring is back to God is believing in is His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord God. He rescues us from sin and helps us to not sin against Him.

When you look around and discern what’s really going on in this world you will quickly know that we are truly living in a sinful, fallen, evil world that is speeding toward a collisional destination just like that drunk mother was speeding toward her concrete wall destination that happened in the blink of an eye. So, too are we. The writing is on the wall: Sin is abounding faster than ever before since the days of Noah.  More than ever, the world is going increasingly insane. And it’s all because of SIN. The world’s trajectory can not be changed, Jesus told us it couldn’t be, but we who put our trust and belief in Jesus Christ… our trajectory is changed for eternity to be with Him and all His unspeakable glory.

In Matthew 24: 9-15 we read, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:).”

So, the answer to all the above questions is: SIN. That’s the bottom line: SIN (iniquity).

In conclusion, the more important questions for you and me should be, “Have you repented of your sins? Are you trusting Jesus Christ with every aspect of your life?  Are you willing to let go of any and all anchors that are holding you back from serving Him in whatever capacity you can? Are you praying for these 4 precious surviving souls that desperately need your prayers as well as praying for their families?  Are you women of God who are able to visit and minister hope and healing to these two young mothers in prison going to do it?”

Thank you Jesus Christ for dying for us so that we can do what You strengthen us to do with what little time we have left here on earth to serve You.

To You be all the glory.

So be it.

More from Dr. Joe Fawcett: New Mexico Pot Heads:

Everything in this nation and therefore the world is dramatically and quickly changing like we’ve never seen before in our time. Yes, evil will prosper in the days ahead. Yes, there is coming (no one knows when) a one world government, a one world economy, and a one world religion. This evil worldly system absolutely hates the Christ-followers and will do all they can to destroy us with everything they’ve got. Regardless, if you know your Bible you know how it all ends… great news for us… horrific news for “them”.
So, with that in mind, do you often feel as if you’ve entered the Twilight Zone with a dose of the Outer Limits? Or maybe, if you have a biblical worldview, do you feel like you’re living in the “End Times”?
Do you know someone who gets all excited about us supposedly living in the “Last Days…the End Times”? If so, you’ll want to calm them down by turning to Amos 5:18 that states, “Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.”
Remind them that before that “great and glorious day of the Lord” (Acts 2:20, “The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.) comes that they’re hoping for, that a whole lot of terrible persecution, pain and suffering like never before has to first occur in the “End Times”. It’s a time of terrible darkness, wrath, and fury that you and I will experience if we have not yet met our appointed time of death (Hebrews 9:27). And this horrific time is allowed to reign for years before our Lord Jesus Christ finally puts an end to it. There is no joy to be found in the Tribulation Period. Zero!

There have been numerous horrific times in history that didn’t lead into the “End Times”. Who’s to say we’re not in one of those terrible periods of history that leads into the “Last Days”? People experiencing awful times have truly believed they were living in the “Last Days” ever since the Apostle John’s Revelation. So, for the last 2,000 plus years, there have been those who are always banging that “End Times” drum while trying to fit it into their current events. And right now there are those who are doing the exact same thing.
Just about every one of the following 50 prophecies has been declared by those drum bangers since the Revelation letter was released to us. But none of these 50 prove that we are right now in the “Last Days”. Therefore, since we are not, let’s pull our collective heads out of the sand and stop waiting around for God to take us out of this insanity, and now get busy doing His work and doing His commandments.

Judgment by God comes when we fail to do our job. And we as a nation are failing… big time! Judgement is coming to the U.S.A. and its going to be beyond awful.
So, it really shouldn’t come as a big surprise to you that the sinful nature of New Mexico just became the 16th State to legalize recreational marijuana along with the pot heads in Alaska, Arizona, California (70% of communities don’t allow recreational marijuana and canceled medical marijuana sales), Colorado (In 2016, Denver’s recreational marijuana industry used 4 % of the city’s energy – that’s enough electricity to power 32,355 homes – and was responsible for approximately 393,053 pounds of CO2 emissions – that matches CO2 produced by 38,177 cars. Furthermore, their marijuana industry generated 18.78 million pieces of plastic. Also, steady increases of the negative effects to health, motor vehicle deaths, adolescents’ school issues, mental health, poison control, and many social problems, including black markets continue to thrive in Colorado.), Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Oregon, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington as well as the District of Columbia, and three U.S. territories – Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Stay tuned… more recreational marijuana in states to follow… guaranteed… unless all Christians pray up and show up.
It’s tragic to think that New Mexico lawmakers could look into eventually decriminalizing heroin, crack and methamphetamines in the future. No New Mexico legislator has made such statements nor have they introduced legislation to the effort… but it’s not far-fetched to think that the legalization of heroine, crack and methamphetamines for “recreational” purposes could be next.
Roswell Mayor Dennis Kintigh, a former FBI special agent, said legalization of narcotics could be destructive. He goes on to say, “People who have never dealt with a family of a meth user have no concept of how destructive that drug is. Same thing for heroin and that’s the problem. These people who have these rose-colored glasses concept, ‘well it’s only a problem because it’s illegal,’ no it’s illegal because they’re problems. The reality is there’s a huge drug problem here in New Mexico. I believe the drug problem really flows from behavioral health issues and this has done nothing to make it better. This is basically the state serving as an enabler to encourage those who are in bad shape having real issues to continue to wallow in a situation that will ultimately destroy them.”  Actually, Dennis, those “behavioral health issues” are in reality a personal sin issue and thus a spiritual issue that only Jesus can deliver them from.
Tragically, the narcissistic, power hungry, globalist New Mexico governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, a socialistic democrat, signed the recreational “pot bill” into law, that would also erase the criminal records of people who possessed marijuana for “personal use”. She said in a statement that workers, entrepreneurs and the government would benefit from the new industry, creating jobs and tax revenue. She said, “And those who have been harmed by this country’s failed war on drugs, disproportionately communities of color, will benefit from our state’s smart, fair and equitable new approach to past low-level convictions.” That’s basically double-speak for calling evil good.
She and her globalist kind are not satisfied to merely live their lives, take care of their families and make their mark peacefully. Rather, they crave power over all else. They desperately want control over you, over me, over everything, and they will use any means at their disposal to get it… even “legalizing” illegal drugs. She and her kind have something like a drug addiction; globalists are like crack addicts, they can never get enough power, there’s always something more to take.
They tell themselves and others that “they know what is best” for the rest of us. They believe themselves superior and therefore it’s their “destiny” to dictate and micromanage society for the “greater good” of us all… a “Reset” of everything for their taking. But really, they have no noble aspirations. They have no empathy or honor. They don’t care about the average human being, the environment or society in general. They only care about themselves and their delusions of grandeur. These people are a cancer in the rest of civilization.
Bible believers are also known to be called “Conservative Americans”. We’ve been a thorn in the side of the Marxist globalists (communists) social democrats for a long time. The bottom line is that there cannot be communist and Christian (Conservative) ideals at the same time in the same place. It’s impossible. Oil and water don’t mix. We believe in freedom of speech, limited government, true free markets, individual liberty, private property rights, the right to self-defense, the right to medical self-determination, freedom of religion, and the non-aggression principle (we won’t harm you unless you try to harm us). None of these ideals can exist in a globalist (communist) world because globalism is fully centralized tyranny of which you are experiencing more and more of it manifest almost daily.
Globalists are particularly obsessed with deconstructing and sabotaging their state and even America in the pursuit of their global madness. Real humanitarians would not have a problem if someone didn’t want to accept their “charity”, but global psychopaths cannot abide by a group of people rejecting them and their ideology. You’re not allowed to walk away from them. You’re not allowed to do things your own way. You must be forced to comply. Their agenda only works if everyone submits. So, how do you fight and win? Simple… you don’t submit!
Here’s a jaw dropping fact: New Mexico is presently in a drought and has been since mid-2017! Here’s another jaw dropping fact: Cannabis requires 450 to 900 gallons of water and significant amounts of energy to produce just one pound of the mostly life-robbing stuff. That doesn’t take into consideration the pesticides, fungicides, rodenticides and herbicides that pose human health concerns or pollute New Mexico’s fragile water supplies. But the sociopathic socialistic powers that be in New Mexico somehow “lost” those fact laden memos. Makes you wonder if the “governor” signed recreational pot into law because she and her “party” only wanted the future “votes” as well as whatever human suffering revenues their recreational “pot” schemes financially generated. It’s obvious that “they” could care less about the health and well being of the good, hard working folks that are trying to live in New Mexico.
But the reality is that Michelle has no noble aspirations. Again, she and her party have no empathy or honor. Again, they don’t care about the average human being living in New Mexico (or anywhere), the environment or society in general. Again, they only care about themselves and their delusions of grandeur. Again, these people are an evil cancer sucking the life from the rest of civilization.
Sadly, the New Mexico recreational marijuana bill was passed over by wimpy republican objections, but not all were opposed to its legalization; some just sparred over the silly details, including how the industry should be taxed, licensed and regulated. That’s basically double-speak for calling evil good.
Supporters, including recreational pot-loving Emily Kaltenbach, senior director for resident states and New Mexico for the Drug Policy Alliance, hailed the passage of the law. She said, “Today’s passage of the cannabis legalization and expungement package will ensure equitable opportunities for farmers and other small businesses, and long overdue justice – including automatic expungement – for those with past cannabis arrests or convictions.” That’s basically double-speak for calling evil good.
No matter how you vote, no matter what you say, evil has invaded our nation’s very soul… our earth and our lives are never going to be the same. We’re seeing the acceleration of calling evil good and good evil. (2 Timothy 3:3 & Isaiah 5:20).
You look at the people you’ve known all your life, and a few if not most have become so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they’d never express as their own.
Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility.
The majority of churches are “preaching” a touchy-feely watered-down version of a message designed to not hurt anyone’s “feelings” for fear of losing revenue (members).
We’ve become a nation of fear that’s lost its collective mind:
Legalizing marijuana as an acceptable recreational drug so as to decriminalize what is in reality a recognized federal illegal drug.
If a man pretends to be a woman, you’re required by law to pretend with him. Or if a person identifies as anything other than what their chromosomes prove they are – you’re required to go along with what “it” chooses to “be”.
People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
Killing babies in and out of the womb is acceptable and a huge business.
Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.
Somehow, it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
Somehow, it’s un-American to demand voter identification.
Somehow, illegals voting in our elections are good and letting them do so is the “loving thing to do.”
It’s okay for the unofficial, unelected, puppet-president Joe Biden to “blackmail” the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if President Donald Trump inquiries about it.
Telling Americans they must wear a submissive, highly toxic, life-robbing mask (face diaper) or two because it’s the right thing to do.
Telling Americans that getting a life-threatening, unproven, unscientific vaccine(s) a couple of times or more is the right thing to do.
Franklin Graham urging pastors and their congregations to take the gene altering experimental “vaccine” because Jesus would.
People believing that there is a virus causing this “pandemic” and that things will get back to “normal” once everybody gets vaccinated.
People believing the death rate numbers of the “virus”.
People who watch the corrupt news channels and believing their lies rather than believing the truth in the Word.
People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their mostly worthless degrees.
If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.
Immigrants with communicable diseases, tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.
Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but those criminal illiterate gangbangers who jump the southern fence are more than welcome and rewarded.
$5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.
We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to a growing number of American citizens (most are high school and college aged and greatly dumbed down by their Marxist teachers).
Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it’s a violation of their rights. And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes you a “racists”?!

Letting the violent, communistic “Black Lives Matter” and their evil cohorts “Antifa” get away with destroying cities and their businesses.

It’s racist to refer to the “virus” as the Wuhan (Chinese) virus, even though it began in Wuhan, China brought forth mainly by those obscene Satanists Billy Gates and Tony Fauci… and that Nazi George Soros.

We are clearly living in an upside-down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right. Where illegal recreational drugs are “legal”. Where medical drugs are the second leading cause of death. Where pedophiles roam mostly free to do their perversion. Where rampant child-sacrifices supplies the satanic adrenochrome addicts of the rich and famous, Hollywood, corporate America and corrupt politicians. And the evil goes on and on.
The bottom-line message for all these insane and evil things happening around us is that we’re living on borrowed time until God’s wrath is poured out upon ALL mankind. The life-changing question for every believer in Jesus Christ is, “Are you ready?” Are you truly grounded in His Word and therefore ready for the trials, tragedies and tribulation that is to come upon you and your loved ones? Are you prepared to now be the warrior against evil that God intends you to be?
God deals with sin and the unrepentant sinner, and He does so in His time with either grace or wrath (John 3:36). If you’ve put your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are under God’s grace. Your sins have been forgiven and forgotten, and you can look forward with confidence to that glorious day when you meet your Creator face to Face. For those of us who have a personal relationship with Jesus, we know that we’ve got the ultimate joyful ending. Jesus has forgiven our sins and has given us eternal life, and nobody or nothing can ever take that away from us.
Until our time is up here on earth, say with me, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!” Joshua 24:15 – And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Dark times such as the one we’re in… need heroes. Christian, choose to be a hero. If you’re living for Jesus Christ you are a hero where every day and the years ahead will provide you with countless opportunities for a life worth living.
Wake up you nonbeliever… and you lukewarm Christian who doesn’t want to rock the boat – who doesn’t want to call out the evil for what it is; the once great unsinkable ship called “America” has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and is sinking fast and you’re going to go down with it in a terrible way. Nevertheless, the choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choice wisely! Now is not the time to hesitate on your decisions. I encourage you to spend the rest of your life for something that really matters… following Jesus Christ and obeying His commandments because you know Him and love Him.
It’s going to take great emotional strength and tremendous courage to make a bold and uncompromising stand against your town, county, state, nation and the world’s increasingly anti-Christ system. But you and I have the incredible opportunity to be part of an adventure that the Lord is bringing forth and it’s going to shake the world. You do not want to miss out on the great move of God that is coming. It’s going to be unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
Therefore, finish your life with, “His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:23

Dr. Guy Clark: New Mexico Has Failed to Take Gambling Addiction Seriously

About a week ago Thom Cole wrote a good article in the Santa Fe New Mexican about the failure of the state to take gambling addiction seriously.  I thought it would be useful to reveal more details about the state’s failure, so I wrote this op-ed for the Albuquerque Journal that appeared today.  It’s not just that the state fails to do a good job of attacking this enormous health problem (state studies since 1997 have indicated that there are between 35,000 to 45,000 problem gamblers in the state), the health department does not even recognize the problem.  I hope you will read this article and encourage your state legislators to hold legislative hearings next month to remedy this problem.

To contact your legislator open the “Find Your Legislator by Address” page by clicking here.  On the “Political Body” field you can scroll down to pick the house or the senate, then add your address in the following field.  That will bring up a field with your legislator’s picture and name.   You can then click on his/her name and it will take you to their legislative page where you can find their contact information.

The most effective contacts are by phone, so you could call your legislator at their home, since they won’t be at their Santa Fe office until mid-January.  An email would also probably get to them.  You could say something like, “I read the article about problem gambling in the Albuquerque Journal (or the SF New Mexican), and think that it is disgraceful that the state does nothing to help problem gamblers.  Would you please do what you can to get legislation moving to get the health department to create an office that deals with gambling addiction?”

Stop Predatory Gambling New Mexico will be at the legislature and will use what influence we have to get legislation moving to get the state engaged in helping our citizens.

Thank you for your help,

Dr. Guy C. Clark, chairman
