The Day After…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday, eight people gathered around the flag pole here in Presque Isle, Maine for the National Day of Prayer. As we stood at the court house and petitioned God that hears and answers prayer, I thought once again how the church building needs to be like a hospital. Eight is the number for new beginnings and maybe God himself is giving the church a new beginning. We all can make a mess of things at times, but God’s way is always perfect.

Today, let continue to thank him for pouring out his spirit as we prayed yesterday. (Joel 2:28) Let’s thank him that our churches are becoming like hospitals where wounded hearts can be made whole. He is no respecter of persons and a rebuilder of all broken lives. (Isaiah 61) A place where people can come as they are, be accepted and loved because they were created in the image of a great God. Amen? Amen.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you died for people. The beautiful buildings, the fancy robes and all the entertainment without the presence of God, has showed us how desperate we are for a move of God’s spirit. Your Word tells us, it is not by might, nor by power, but by your spirit. (Zechariah 4:6)

Father, examine our hearts today, our motives and why do we take up our cross and follow Jesus? To bring hope to a lost and dying world. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Jesus loves you and I must tell you again.

Tell Them…

Tell them I love them…Tell them they are mine…
Tell them I will never leave them nor forsake them.

Tell them they are precious gems…Tell them I see them as perfect.

Tell them they reflect my image…Tell them not to look back.

Tell them to look straight ahead…Tell them I laid out the red carpet for them.
My blood, it was enough.

Tell them, tell them, tell them again!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Believe beautiful people, believe.

Never lose hope beautiful people. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
