Susan B. Anthony List (SBA) just released a pro-life commercial talking about the science of abortion and that it is still legal in America to have a baby aborted, even though a baby in womb can feel pain at just 15 weeks old. The commercial is part of the anti-abortion group’s $2 million campaign it says is to “highlight the humanity of unborn children” in the hopes of bringing awareness to the Supreme Court‘s upcoming Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case it will hear this October.

Last week, President Biden introduced the 2022 fiscal year budget proposal—a massive increase of federal spending to World War II levels, but as expected, expands abortion and rescinds pro-life Hyde Amendment protections. Read more below about the specific provisions removed. “The removal of the Hyde Amendment reverses a long-standing bi-partisan consensus to protect taxpayers from funding abortions,” said Elisa Martinez, New Mexico Alliance for Life Executive Director. “As a Senator, Joe Biden supported Hyde but has now caved to the extreme wing of the Democrat party–which also flies in the face of the majority of Americans who oppose forced taxpayer funding of abortions.”
In response, New Mexico Alliance for Life is representing the voices of pro-life New Mexicans by joining a coalition of pro-life groups calling on congressional House and Senate leadership to protect taxpayers by supporting pro-life protections in federal appropriations.
