A new report from George Barna’s Cultural Research Center reveals what Barna describes as the most radical religious and cultural shifts of American beliefs of the past 40 years. Those “upheavals,” says Barna, are “causing monumental changes within our nation’s historically stable religious alignments.” key spiritual indicators have drastically decreased in the past 30 years, according to the report. In 1991, 86% of U.S. adults held a biblical view of God, but now just 46% do. Belief in the Bible as “the accurate Word of God” fell from 70% in 1991 to 41% in 2021. And the percentage of Americans who believe they’ll go to heaven because they accept Jesus as their personal Savior fell from 36% in 1991 to 30% in 2021.

We have been talking about this for years at FGGAM and before that when I was on KKIM Radio and at Dewey and Friend’s TV and also at Dewey’s Daily Cup since 1997!!! We were speaking to this trend then!!!!!!!! It seems many are not watching, including many in the church in America, what is happening as America leaves God!!!!!!!!!!!

I have said for years one of the great failures of the Church in America is carrying out THE GREAT COMMISSION! I was blessed to be Pastor Jim Montoya’s Associate Pastor years ago at the Church of God in Los Lunas, New Mexico and he trained me up to carry out THE GREAT COMMISSION! We did revival’s all over, baptized people in city parks!!!! We pushed down walls all for God’s Glory! The Body of Christ became comfortable as Satan worked overtime to steal the hearts of many. I am forever grateful for Pastor Jim, and Wanell and Bob Pate for their support during those years and now to this day. It has helped very much to make FGGAM what it is today! OUTREACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Showing Jesus to one person at a time.

With what God has me doing, ministering to many that have been going to church, but left because of many different reasons, I could write a book on that, and those who do not beleive in God….I want to share about this…..Many in the Body of Christ, including Pastors have shown the unbelieving world what it wants to see from Christians…supporting ungodly behavior in politicians, supporting politicians who are just plain nasty! My Mom would have washed out their mouths with soap! I am still astounded the support Christians have given foul mouthed, women bashing, unethical politicians!!!! What a shame, this has done great damage to the Bride of Christ. God has told me to write about this! In the last several years many Christians have went way off the path of God and supported nasty. This is a key reason why many do not want anything to do with organized religion! I KNOW! GOD HAS SHOWN ME CLEAR AS A DAY AND MANY, MANY TELL ME THIS!!!! Many Christians have made politicians a god.

Yesterday I was talking to a Vietnam war hero who goes by the name ‘Moose”. I have known him for years, he is in a book about the Vietnam war. Moose is a Christian but has nothing to do with organized religion because of the many of the reasons above. Moose told me that the Insurrection of our Nations Capitol was one of the greatest tragedies in America history and all those involved should be tried for TREASON! Many in the Body of Christ have been so silent on this move by Satan that blinded many and many are still blind, still supporting nasty politicians. Moose said, “I fought for our Capitol…I fought for our Country.” I also am very discouraged with many who did not speak out against this treason and still stand with nasty and have allowed this stink to enter the church. PEOPLE!!! WE ARE PAYING A DEEP PRICE FOR THIS DYSFUNCTION IN THE BODY OF CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Baptist Church is imploding because of politics and other Churches are suffering from this dysfunction.

Until America comes together and finds all guilty parties in the Insurrection of our Capitol there can be no peace. America went through hell with Watergate, but the guilty parties were found. Nixon left office in disgrace. Who really was behind this satanic act of terrorism at our Nations capitol? It was well planned!!! Grieving has never begun, because for some reason we as a Country have refused to go to the root causes. This Country needs to grieve this act of hell. Grieving and healing cannot begin until the guilty are tried for treason.

The “American Worldview Inventory 2021” report, released on Tuesday, points to several troubling trends, including consistent 30-year declines in Christianity and confidence in religion. “In its first 200 years, America could count on the consistency of its people’s faith commitments, and with that, common views about morality, purpose, family, lifestyle, citizenship, and values,” says Barna. “But as my recent worldview research clearly shows, the United States has become one of the largest and most important mission fields in the world.”

One of the biggest things I miss from my full-time days in radio is interviewing people, letting them share their story with the world. I feel that is one of the greatest things we can do is let others tell their story unedited. I do miss live radio. I have had in the past women who would go on the radio and tell their story of abuse, abortion, men would share on drug addiction and so on. People would share with me on how much it meant to tell their story and listeners would say the interviews would inspire them. I do not say this for myself, I say it for God’s Glory Alone, in the fact God gave us that time at KKIM to interview people, to help bring others to Christ. I remember a lovely mother who sent me a letter saying her son accepted Jesus because he heard the message of salvation on KKIM. Her son was in prison at the time and was allowed to listen to the radio. I always say radio is great because it pernitrates the walls of hell. Here at FGGAM we also hear many stories of how people are moved by the sermons and postings from all over the world.
