Focusing and Seeking God
One of my passion is I love being out on the waters kayaking whenever the river is calm. I call it a piece of heaven on earth feeling God’s presence being surround by his beauty. So one day I asked the Lord that I would love to capture an eagle on camera. I love eagles for in the bible they portray strength, power and vision. I enjoy watching them soar with such freedom. I knew where there was one so I floated down the river anxious to go to the spot where I knew he was. As I got there he was nowhere to be found. Disappointed but yet determined to see one, I turned around and headed back thinking, I will focus and seek every high tree that I see. Minutes later I saw a brown spot high up on a tree surrounded by leaves, excited and thrilled wondering could it be. So I took my camera and zoomed on it and low and behold there he was. I captured it hoping to get multiple shots but flew away.
I started thanking and praising God, for that one picture that I got. Then the Spirit of God spoke to my heart, saying you were determined you focused seek and you found. It is the same today when people come to me with determination and focusing and seeking me they will be found by me.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.
We all face challenges in our lives and wonder God where are you? It was just like the eagle wondering where he was ? God is their if we keep focusing and seeking him never giving up he will show up. Just like I was determine to see the eagle. It takes determination, perseverance, seeking him with all of our hearts.
Psalm 27:8 My heart says to you Seek his face, Your face Lord I will seek.
God loves and cares for his children. God hears and knows the cry of every heart. Like the eagle we need to keep our strength, our vision then the power of God will be release and we can walk in freedom.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while he may be found, call on him while he is near.
Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.
James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.
So for this little adventure I have learned for myself that no matter what life brings you stay focus and seek Gods face he will reveal himself to you.
Psalm 9:10 Those who know your name will trust in you for you, Lord have never forsaken those who seek you.
Lord we will seek you with all our heart and soul. We will draw near to you and you will draw near to us. We desire to see your power and glory in every challenges we face in our lives. My trust and hope is in you Lord. I give you thanks and praise for your glory will be reveal Amen
