God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for another awesome message! We are so very thankful for your ministry!!! We send the love of Jesus to you and yours!
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Ephesians 6:18
For a Christian, prayer is essential. There is nothing more important in life than to learn how to pray.
Prayer is the most important thing we can learn how to do because that’s how we communicate with God, learn about God, understand God and connect with God.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
Romans 12:12
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
Colossians 4:2
When we find ourselves in conflict, prayer is not the only thing we can do, but it’s the best thing we can do. In essence, we are seeking God first, going to him, taking our issues to him and we can’t really do that unless we are actually speaking to him.
Prayer also initiates angelic action on our behalf. Scripture talks about spiritual battles taking place in the heavenly realms and that’s why I believe the minute we pray, God begins to take action.
I read this recently and thought it was well written;
“Prayer is, for the most part, an untapped resource, an unexplored continent where an untold treasure remains to be unearthed. It is talked about more than anything else and practiced less than anything else. And yet, for the believer it remains one of the greatest gift our Lord has given us outside of salvation.”

Prayer is our way of communicating with our God. If you view this “communication“ to be a bad or a boring thing, your relationship with that person will eventually flail, but if you truly love that person, you’ll want to communicate with them, you’ll want to share your sadness and your joys with them.
You’ll also long to be in constant contact with them and you’ll make an effort to talk to them.
“When you call me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you.”
Jeremiah 29:12
Many blessings,
