Seek peace and pursue it

Very timely message for such a times as this! God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for another precious message!

There can be no true peace without Jesus. Temporary peace is only available through deception, addiction or distraction.

These things lead only to eternal regret. But Isaiah 9:6 says “God shall be called the Prince of Peace.”

“The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.”

Psalm 29:11

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

John 14:27

The peace Jesus gives us is different from the peace the world offers us. Many times we search for peace elsewhere, but we’ll never find it there, unless it’s empty and temporary.

Jesus left his peace with us. His peace is the peace that allows us to stand still in the hardest of times.

A Christian’s life should come under the Bible teaching of peaceful living. People who live this way will avoid constant, difficult conflicts and unnecessary hardships.

“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”

Hebrews 12:14

The times we are living in are very difficult, but God offers us hope and peace.

“Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”

Psalm 34:14

“A born-again person ought to possess unspeakable peace in the spirit.” – Watchman Nee

May God‘s peace surround you today and always.

Many Blessings,

Connie Keyohara
