Happy Birthday Dewey… Abundant Blessings! A Friend Forever
I remember the day as it was yesterday, almost twelve years ago. I was caring for my first grandchild in my daughter and son in laws ’s apartment across from the post office. I received the call from Dewey Moede from KKIM Radio in Albuquerque, New Mexico about a demo for my radio program Destiny Moments. I had previously attended the Glorietta Writers’ Conference in Glorietta, New Mexico where I had met Shona Neff- Personality Mechanic. Our meeting was a destiny moment for sure and I could write a book on just that alone. She gave Dewey my name to contact me, when I felt the call to radio.
It was on my birthday, a medical doctor and friend had just left from visiting to see my precious new grandson, Mason and wish me a happy birthday. She had brought me a gift, a journal on that day and the cover read Abundant Blessings. That was the day Dewey called and requested a copy of my demo. Dewey, a man that hears God speak and obeys. He then steps out of his full-time job to start a media ministry by faith and I begin to write for him. It will be nine years in August and God has blessed his ministry For God’s Glory Alone Ministries, in which I am thankful to be a contributing writer. God has really used this man and this ministry to reach the world. Thank you Dewey Moede- a friend forever.
Dewey Moede, my prayer is for you today. Happy Birthday and may you continue to hear his voice and obey.
Father, thank you for Dewey Moede and his precious wife Sharon. We pray today a blessing beyond measure, the abundant blessing your Word talks about in John 10:10. Father, thank you for his obedience. I pray that the next season of his life will be filled with good health, building good memories and filled with every blessing from above.
Father, we pray Numbers 6:24-26 over Dewey and his family; May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.
Father, may Dewey and Sharon have the best year yet from your hand, we pray. Amen.
