Is God Ever Late? Angel’s Prayer Of The Day…

Is God Ever Late?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Recently, I was preparing for an author’s interview for my book Good Morning Beautiful People, Angel’s Prayer Of The Day. One question I needed to answer was this: What is one of your favorite writings? Immediately my mind went to a writing I penned, based on Isaiah 61. He Calls Me Beautiful, Ashes No More. I love how God rebuilds lives, how God takes even the worst messes and brings good. (Romans 8:28) I love God’s promises, and I am learning that he is never late.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for rebuilding lives. Isaiah 61 tells us that you oh God bestow a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They we will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

Father, thank you that instead of shame, you give a double portion, and instead of disgrace, we rejoice in our inheritance. And so we will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be ours. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. God is never late, even when we think he may be. Believe in his perfect timing.

He Calls Us Beautiful… Ashes No More

Jesus, Lover of My Soul, Creator of my image, Lifter of my head

My name is Beautiful.

Woman, pure, holy undefiled. Sanctified, set apart, Journeying with Jesus.

A path narrow and straight, Ashes no more.

Trusting her master-her maker, The lover of her soul.

Skipping on the journey with childlike faith, Believing her Father knows what’s best.

The morning dew, the night’s crisp air, Reminds her of the kisses from above.

Jesus, the ultimate man, The lover of her soul.

Beautiful, a receiver of His glory, Ashes No More.
