KOAT TV made the announcement of Howard Morgan passing away. What a legend! What a wonderful fella! Howard was the first weatherman we watched when we moved here. Our prayers and sympathy go out to Howard’s family and friends. Team Jesus please be in prayer.

Legendary Weatherman Howard Morgan has left this world at the age of 91. Over 45 years on air at KOAT, with a million dollar smile, and always a gentleman. He was one of a kind. NM Broadcasters Hall of Fame too. A very talented Artist also. I’ve proudly displayed one of his paintings in my living room for many years. A flood of memories that go back to childhood for many in NM. Prayers for his family, friends and all his long time colleagues from KOAT.
