The Pocket Full Of Rocks…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I ponder this morning so many things as I prepare my heart before God. Things in life change very quickly, life truly is like a vapor. My three precious grandsons were here last weekend visiting and they found a rock by my front steps. The poka dotted rock had the word love written on it. I am unsure where the rock came from and who may have left it.
Last evening my precious granddaughter and another precious grandson came by for a visit. My granddaughter came in bringing me a present she said. It was a smooth brown rock. Then while waiting for her dad to pick them up a little later, she said she had more presents for me. She then emptied her little pocket that was full of rocks. She was just beaming as she placed them on the counter.
Life is full of transition and I am so thankful that Jesus is my rock. Children are precious to God and I have learned to listen closely when they speak. God speaks through them every day.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your love. Thank you for the gift of children and grandchildren. May your watchful eye continue to be upon them.
Father, we pray Psalm 18:1-3 today. We love you, Lord, our strength. The Lord is our rock, our fortress and our deliverer; our God is our rock, in whom we take refuge, our shield and the horn of our salvation, our stronghold. We called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and we have been saved from our enemies. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Bless a child today and remember that Jesus is our rock.
