What Will People Think?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. How many of you grew up with parents or family members saying, what will people think? I know many people have and I am sure I put some of that on my children as well.
Recently, I went to visit a friend. She asked me why I didn’t wear a particular outfit that day. I said well I didn’t want people to think… She immediately began to pray for me. Father, deliver Angel from what people think, Amen.
I chuckled, but she was so right. Sometimes we value people’s opinions over what God’s Word speaks over our lives. Roman 12:2 says be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove that what is good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
As we grow in our faith, we will come to the realization that what people think has no real significance, but what Jesus says and sees is all that really matters. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, deliver us (me) from the fear of man, fear of the world. You paid a dear price for our freedom and we want to live free.
Father, what really matters is what you say about us. 1 Samuel 16:7 tells us this; The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
Father, as we journey through life, help us remember to look at the heart and not outward appearances. Amen.
