God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for always blessing us with you wonderful messages!

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

Have you ever felt like God could never forgive you for something you’ve done?

Maybe you wonder why you can’t stop sinning. You try and try and keep failing.

Paul the Apostle put it like this:

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate, that is the very thing I do.”

Romans 7:15

First of all, we want to remember that God‘s grace and mercy are never a license to sin.

We must ask God to forgive us and try to start fresh. And to be sincere about it.

Jesus Christ brought God’s plan for forgiveness to completion at Calvary. God didn’t have to forgive us, he wanted to because of his grand love towards us.

Once we really grasp the goodness of God and really begin to see ourselves in comparison to Him, we are well on our way to a genuine repentance.

God has provided a way out of sin for us and at great cost to Himself.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

Once you are forgiven by God for your sin you must turn away from that sin. Make a conscious decision that you will not purposefully commit the same sin again after being forgiven.

By following Christ and seeking him through scripture and prayer, we will move further away from sin.

You may not stop sinning immediately, but keep trying!

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”

Psalm 103:12

You have to be humble, admit your weakness and be willing to ask for help before you fall again .

You have to be willing to put to death your own will, your own lusts and desires and to be willing to conform to God’s perfect, pleasing will.

Whether it’s an addiction, a lust, an anger issue or whatever makes you fall. You have to be willing to go straight to God for help.

So, don’t beat yourself up, don’t give up and just seek God. He will meet you where you’re at!

He’ll never let you down.

Many blessings,

Connie Keyohara
