How a Man should live

Friday My Dear Sister Karen Rowe let me know that her precious husband my Dear Brother Robert Rowe has passed into the arms of Jesus! I love the picture of Robert, I see Godly integrity in his eyes and then with him with his love Karen. I have been praying on what to say…I pause to pray, but the words are hard to come by. Karen and Robert showed me and Sharon so much love in Jesus! When we stepped out and answered the call of God to lead the ministry HE formed, He even named it For God’s Glory Alone! Karen and Robert invited me to come to their town Efland, NC to help with a Revival! Before that I had met Karen on the phone through Robert’s brother, Joe! Karen started a radio program on KKIM! Karen also wrote a book!, The Train Whistle! She also writes for God at FGGAM.ORG Karen and Robert have shown me what JESUS looks like, by how they have led their lives, always spreading the joy and good news of JESUS! A tremendous Man and Woman of God and their two children are of the same. I am forever grateful that God had me meet Karen and Robert and their family! Awesome role models on what it means to serve Jesus! We love the Rowe family, we treasure the Rowe family

This tribute to Robert by Karen…..makes me stop in my tracks………it should make you also stop and think….how are you living your life?….are you walking  with Jesus? Soak this tribute in. This is what a man of God looks like and a woman of God. The love is of God.  Robert and Karen are all about JESUS and brining others to JESUS!

Karen’s tribute top her hubby……..

Robert Glenn Rowe made it to Heaven very quickly and peacefully around 11 in the morning on August 19, 2021. God chose to heal Robert Glenn COMPLETELY when he was received into eternal life, removed from the pains and hardships of this world, and given a new heavenly body. I believe Rob was welcomed into heaven by a hug from Jesus as a brother in Christ!

To you reading, in this we hope you find God’s blessing of His comfort, strength, and joy, but most of all, His love.
Celebrating with him in Heaven right now are his father Robert Ferdinand Rowe, and father in love Kenneth Melvin Dodd.

Surviving the loss is:

His mother Mallie Ilene (Looney) Rowe, wife Karen June (Dodd) Rowe, and mother in love Genevieve May (Seldomridge) Dodd.

His son Daniel Kenneth Rowe, daughter and son in love Amanda Elizabeth (Rowe) Shuler and Mason Andrew Shuler, granddaughter to be born very soon Emma Jane Shuler, and honorary son Alan Thompson.

Sister and brother in love Restona (Rowe) and Stanley McQuade, brother and sister in love Danny Bruce Rowe and Shelia Rowe, brother and sister in love Joe Corbitt Rowe and Alice Rowe, sister and brother in love Patty Mae (Rowe) and Andy Vatter, sister and brother in love Teresa Ada (Rowe) and Kenny Brewster, sister and brother in love Kathryn Inez (Rowe) and Thomas Buckley, brother in love Douglas Kenneth Dodd, cousin who is like a brother Raymond Looney, and honorary brother in heart Chris Fogleman.

A special honor to Pastor J.L. Alston for all the spiritual guidance and influence he has had in our family’s growth in Jesus.
And many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who feel this tremendous loss of such a giving, hard-working, never complaining, ever-loving man!

Robert Glenn accomplished much by earthly standards, but he will be best remembered for the way he walked with the Lord. He loved our God and Father in Heaven with all his heart! Often, he would say, I would rather lose everything we have than to disappoint my Father in Heaven. He was a good example of how to be a follower of Jesus. He lived this out in the way that he led his family and many others as a mentor, encouraging them in their faith with wisdom and truth.

Rob had such great faith, and he knew this world was not his home. He had a dream a couple of years ago that an angel of the Lord came and told him she would be taking him Home soon. He asked about me (Karen) and our son still at home (Daniel) and she told him that I (Karen) would be alright, and God would send an angel for Daniel. Rob asked if she would hug him, and she did. Rob said he has never felt so much love and was not afraid.

If you feel led to do something to honor Robert, do this: Listen to “Believe,” by Brooks & Dunn, Rob’s favorite song. He cried when he sat with me and told me that he believes that there is more to life than just what we can see, just like the song says. When you listen, if you believe too, raise your hands, bow your head, and thank God in Jesus’ name, praising God for who He is and all He has done. Then open The Bible and read The Truth and the words written in red for yourself.
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you with his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” – Zephaniah 3:17 ESV

In lieu of having a singular formal service, we believe Robert would be best honored by sharing stories and memories in many small, informal gatherings to celebrate his life and the impact he left on this world in the days, weeks, months, and years to come, until the day we all go home to be with the Lord and join him there.
We will love you forever and a day Robert Glenn Rowe!
