Is it not just like the devil, and those whom he may be influencing, perhaps without their knowledge, to use mass fear to weaken the resolve of good Christian people, and to fragment the church’s purpose in Christ Jesus?! Our LORD prayed to the Father in John 17, that we might be one as they are One.
Politics and Pandemic-these topics are dangerously dividing the House of God. Our opinions, mostly based on someone else’s opinion based on someone else’s opinion, are drawing lines between chairs, pews and aisles. The church is splintered, and thus weakened, over contrived and infused fear based on a lack of factual understanding of choices.
Yes, our LORD has won the ultimate victory over death, hell, and the devil. However, we face many lesser battles daily in the spiritual realm which we lose by differing human-based thought and opinion, by misinformation which is not spiritual gifts, my friend.
The biggest tragedy in this, perhaps, is that many professing believers are ignoring all the encouraging warnings of the LORD when He says in multiple places and in varied ways. “Do not be afraid!”
Beloved believer let me remind you, there is no trust within fear. “Fear not!” “Fret not!” “The LORD has not given you the spirit of fear!”
What are we to do? What would Jesus have you do?
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
Yes, it is just that simple. It is called obedience. Just do it! Pray On!
