God’s design for marriage never included abuse, violence or coercive control. Too often, people think of abuse only as someone being physically beaten, but a significant number of Christian women (and men) experience emotional, financial, spiritual and sexual abuse — even within marriage.
Focus on the Family is dedicated to bringing healing and restoration to couples who are struggling in their marriage, and we have many resources to help couples build stronger, better marriages.
