Join with me in praying a prayer once shared by the late Rev. Billy Graham:

Our Father and our God, we praise You for Your goodness to our nation, giving us blessings far beyond what we deserve. Yet, we know all is not right with America. We deeply need a spiritual renewal to help us meet the many problems we face.

Convict us of sin. Help us to turn to You in repentance and faith. Set our feet on the path of Your righteousness and peace.

We pray today for our nation’s leaders. Give them the wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to do it.

You have said, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” May this be a new era for America, as we humble ourselves and acknowledge You alone as our Savior and Lord.

This we pray in Your holy name, Amen.

My heart sinks how far our society is falling, an epidemic of Satanic activity. Our schools are falling apart, because our families are falling apart. This attack on families has been going on since the 60’s in America. Divorce, booze, drugs, sex outside marriage, pornography, gambling, etc have destroyed families. It is so very sad the number of children who are raised by relatives. Children need a Mom and Dad and a Church, and Sunday School. The family unit was created by God. The destruction of the American society is happening at a rapid pace, it is heartbreaking for this old man to watch, and to see the Church lose its influence. Fights and threats of violence are increasing in Albuquerque Schools. The answer is always JESUS! BUT! So many are blinded by Satan. We must continue to carry out The Great Commission. Social media threats of a shooting led Albuquerque police to evacuate a high school football stadium and postpone the game being played there Thursday night. ABQ Journal Report

We pulled our kids out of APS 20 years ago, we saw the failure in the system then. We placed them in private schools. God found away for us to afford it. We worked hard.

Fights at Albuquerque Schools

Many do not believe in the supernatural when it refers to God, but they do when it does not.

For example, the Washington Post is carrying a feature-length portrait of a “teenage witch” who lives in Austin Texas. The article reports that the hashtag #witchtok on TikTok has 19.4 billion views. The teenager profiled by the Post says, “I’ve never felt more peace than when I’m with my gods. Reading a prayer or doing a ritual. It’s like the earth is alive, a way of stepping into my power as a person.”

To add to this destructive society, Legalized pot was approved in New Mexico and I beleive that law goes into effect April 1, 2021. The cloud of death gets thicker. Spiritual Warfare is hot and heavy in America.

JESUS! JESUS! is always the answer.

My Daddy, Man of God, WW II Veteran, Public Servant, always taught me to look into the mirror everyday to do a quality check of myself. Daddy said, “Clean up your own backyard before you tell someone to clean up theirs.” It is time for each of us to do a ‘JESUS Quality Check’ of ourselves! The Church in America needs a clean up!

I know to many of you this comes as no surprise. I have to say that years ago I was taught that if you are a Christian, everything you do and say is your testimony to the world! There are so many ‘so called Christians’ that are showing an unbelieving world what it wants to see from Christians! Do not misbehave please. Dress, and act like you are a child of God! Why do so many folks wear BLACK! I never have understood that, white is the color of purity. Black means death. Black does not set the tone for worshipping God. YES! I am an old guy for sure! I still love to preach in my white shirt and red tie, meaning for me to strive to be pure in Jesus and I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ! I preach as the Holy Spirit moves you, not what people may want to hear! Only preach what GOD SAYS! No wonder I am not popular in this world! Old fashion! I still shake my head at men that wear their hat in Church! UGH! I was taught that was disrespectful! I come from a generation that took our hats off as we entered Church and any public building. we opened doors for women and the elderly. We called that MANNERS! Give me some of that old time religion, for sure! Here in America our standards of dress and words, actions, and the worshiping of God Almighty have slipped so very much for the worse. It seems to be the little things, the little cracks in society that eventually come back and bite you big time. We are paying a big price for that, as many see no difference in the Church and the world we live in. We have only ourselves to blame. Build on the simple, but awesome things of God, not the ways of this dark, dark world.

I stated several years ago that Satan started ripping apart the fabric of families in America in the 60’s, its like termites eating away at the foundation of a home. Unchecked termites do much damage to the home. Satan has done that to our nation.

Also the BASIC teachings of our LORD seem to have gone to the wayside in many Churches like, the TEN COMMANDMENTS, THE GREAT COMMISSION, and more. Much of the Church in America has lost its salt for sure. The goal of many Churches turned into ‘making people happy.’ I think that is what Christian history will record of our generation. As the Church goes, the Country goes. How is that working for you?

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. Matthew 5:13
