Intercessors often act as Watchmen, Guardians, Protectors, and Gatekeepers

Watchman on The Wall

I want to thank my friend Devonna Denee Reyes for allowing me to post her message that she posted yesterday on Facebook. It gave me a boost! It was spoke over me years ago in Asheville, NC at the ‘Time to Revive’ Revival, by Kathy Maqsood, that I would be a Watchman on the Wall. This was when I was still managing KKIM Christian radio in 2011. I have felt at times people have not always understood me or my role that God has me in. A Pastor, a Watchman on the Wall, always has to tell the truth, I call it ‘tough love.’ I do know good to my Lord if I sugar coat everything. I have come to comfort the inflicted and inflict the comfortable. I love all people, so very, very much! I want everyone to know Jesus. I want everyone to know the love that Jesus has for them! Watchman are not the popular people of the Church, as we have to bring the bad news. New Mexico has many precious watchman, like Jose and Miki Vasquez in Santa Fe! They have served God and the people of New Mexico faithfully for many years. They have helped me so much in my walk with JESUS! I got to know them through Pastor Kyle Martin of ‘Time to Revive’ from the Revival in Santa Fe in 2008. I love how Sister Devonna describes the role…….
Intercessors often act as watchmen. Guardians. Protectors. Gatekeepers.
They carry many weights from Jesus‘s very heart, and pray as he prays and intercedes.
They are brave in love, willing to engage in another persons battle, for the sake of their freedom and deliverance.
They are often misunderstood for being critical. Yet they see things that need to be addressed with repentance and love.
Rise up intercessors!! We need you.
