Let’s Make A Movie…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I am up early because I just couldn’t sleep. The excitement inside of my heart is too much on this thankful Tuesday. I glance at the two pillows on my living room sofa. The sofa with a sinking middle, that needs to be replaced. The words on the pillows read the following; Beyond Blessed and the other pillow reads Thankful, Grateful, Blessed.
It has been twenty seven years ago, the Creator of the Universe, my Creator, spoke to me about writing a book. Last night, I put the final words on the last page to a book that was the hardest book, a difficult assignment God has ever given unto me. I have completed many tasks and have done a lot at God’s request, but nothing that took this long and with so many tears and some laughter on a roller coaster ride of my emotions. This book I believe will one day soon become a movie.
I love to write, I love to help people and I love to share my faith. I would do anything for Jesus. This assignment from him is now complete. The final chapter of this book, the hardest writing I ever wrote or maybe will ever write is now done, twenty seven years later after his first request.
Although I write daily, and my devotion and words to God in my Good Morning Beautiful People series will continue on, I can’t express how blessed I am to finally put the final touches on a book that was a request to me from God Himself. It certainly was a long term assignment and the most difficult assignment I have ever received.
On Sunday, I baked a turkey and made some homemade stuffing. Although, it was Halloween and that is a day I don’t really like, I felt like something was coming to an end for me besides the last day of the month. Another season, another chapter in my journey called life would now change. I put the cranberry sauce and the fruit salad on my plate and will celebrate for days to come. There is nothing like leftovers for this girl on thankful Monday, thankful Tuesday, and thankful Wednesday. I am sure by thankful Thursday the menu will change, as I try to follow the three day rule.
Today, let’s thank God again for allowing us to work in his kingdom beautiful people. He doesn’t need us. He created the heavens and the earth, but his love for us, mankind, was enough for him to die for. To that we must finish every assignment and every request he may ask of each of us. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your love. Thank you for your redemptive plan for every life. Life is a precious gift from your hands.
Father, how I love the book of Jeremiah. I love the words of a prophet who was not afraid to speak truth. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. You shall go to all I send you and whatever I command you, you will speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.
Father, touch our lips today as you did Jeremiah and said Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.
Father, thank you for the words to speak and the opportunities to tell the world how much you love them and about the plan you have for every life. No mistakes, just destiny to a world that is in need of a loving Savior. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful, precious, precious people. Jesus loves you!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
