Sometimes God Is Silent…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I know we all like to see Gods answer to our prayer requests immediately, but what do we do when God is silent? We have prayed and his answer hasn’t come? Do we get in fear or do we continue to trust him? I heard Joyce Meyer say FEAR is false evidence appearing real.
When words are spoken sometimes it tries to bring fear to us, to steal our peace. Trusting God during these times are a must. I didn’t say it was easy, but a must. Maybe you were diagnosed with Covid-19, maybe the doctor has given you a bad report, maybe you just lost your job, etc. Trusting God when things are good seems easy really, but it is in the difficult times, the trials of life, we grow. When God is silent, we need to hang on and believe he is working behind the scenes. It is a walk of faith and sometimes we do that blindly.
Today, let’s thank God that he has all our answers, holds all our tomorrows and we can put all our trust in him. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we trust you. When you don’t answer our prayers in the time we think you should, we can rest assured your love for us will carry us through. We can look back and look at all the answers to the many prayers we have prayed and see your faithfulness. When you are silent, we continue to believe.
Father, when we don’t understand your timing, we can rest assured knowing your ways are higher than our ways and your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9.
Father, thank you for the grace to trust you more, even when you are silent. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Continue to trust Him. Today might be the day his answer will come.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
