Sunday’s comin’! I will be going to Church.
I get to go! I get to go! I am blessed to be able to go!
It is my spiritual duty to me, and my joy to worship my King! I love my Savior Jesus, and I want to prove it by showing Him that I am not put out to be there; I choose to be there!
I will arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 am, because another blessing for me is to warm the building and prepare coffee, tea, and snacks, for the precious members and friends I have been called to serve and guide. And then my prayer time alone is so very special to me. Soon after, my beloved friends will begin to arrive. A few will arrive about an hour before our Bible Study begins because we enjoy extra fellowship together, plus it becomes a casual time for discipleship. All this brings much joy to my heart!
But above all this, I have the awesome privilege to teach and preach the Word of God, and escort these believers through the corridors of prayer. We always have blessed and unhurried times of prayer. We have seen many answers to prayer, and miracle after miracle, as a result.
We love our times of fellowship as a church; often staying together long after Worship has ended. This Sunday we will also enjoy a Thanksgiving Potluck after the services (however, we are not depending on “luck”, we have a plan!)
Yes, beloved . . . I get to go to church! How about you? Do not allow anything in your life keep you from that vital connection with God and His institution, His Church!
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
See you in Church!
