I will add this, thanks to Dr. Charles Stanley FGGAM has given out more teaching materials than we ever have here in 2021. Including 500 CD’s Of Dr. Stanley speaking on Biblical Principles, they were given out to the attendees of the ‘Soldiers of the Cross’ Men’s Conference. All Glory to God! Remember The Great Commission is a command from Jesus, not a suggestion! It is for all of us to fulfill, not just your Pastor!
Do you invite people to your Church wherever you go? Do you share Jesus with everybody? Do you share your testimony in public? The grocery store, the post office, the gas station, the restaurant……are all excellent places to do so!
What do you think I do at the many funerals I do? JESUS! JESUS!! I LOVE JESUS!! BE BOLD IN HIS LOVE!! YOU CANNOT LOSE!!
From Adrian Rogers:
PRAY OVER THIS
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
PONDER THIS
God has promised we will reap the same as we sow. The Bible says in Genesis 1:24 that the plants and the animals bring forth their kind. You cannot sow one thing and reap another thing.
For example, you don’t reap figs from an olive tree. You don’t plant corn and reap wheat. And you cannot plant discord and reap unity. You cannot plant hypocrisy and reap holiness. You cannot sow to the flesh and reap to the spirit. As Job 4:8 says, “Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.” There’s no way to get around this in the good and in the bad. Whatever you need, you ought to plant. The question for each of us is: what is it that we are sowing?
- If you only reap what you sow, what should you expect to reap from your life?
- If you are unsure of this, how might looking at the fruit of your life help you see how you are sowing?
From CHURCHLEADERS:
“Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together”—unless, of course, the Lord reveals to you that you are the church, as one lady said to me. Or, that you are smarter than the preacher, the deacons are trying to run the church, or no one in the congregation will speak to you. Hebrews 10:25, sort of. All these could be reasons why someone would quit going to church.
When you don’t want to do something, you shouldn’t have to have an excuse.
If you do not want to go to church, for instance, if you can skip church for a whole year and never miss it, you should “man up” and admit, “I’m not a Christian and don’t believe all that Bible stuff. Church is for people who take the Lord seriously. Not me. So, I don’t go.”
Hmm. That felt ‘mean,’ didn’t it? But it’s dead on accurate.
POWERFUL MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From ChurchLeaders:
It’s never been easier to avoid church, skip church or exit church than it is today. And it has a lot of church leaders and Christians scrambling to figure out what’s happening, why decreased church attendance is happening and what it all means. Those are great questions.
On the positive side, a lot of the social stigma associated with ‘missing a Sunday’ is gone, and that’s not a bad thing. Self-righteousness and judgment should never have felt at home in church anyway.
