Two children killed in Chimayó house fire; cause unknown
The loss of a child is most difficult. A few months back I officiated the funeral of an 8-year-old precious little girl who drowned in a swimming pool. Horrible situation for the Mommy and daddy and the other children. I did my best to comfort the family that day, but the pain is deep, so very deep. I remember the Mother turning back to look at me as the service ended and was crying and said, “thank you.” Can you even imagine the pain, not me.
Years ago when my Daddy passed away suddenly I asked the funeral home director what are the worst funerals to do. He answered, “A service for an ashiest, they scream and cry that it is all over and then comes when a parent has to bury a child.”
Always love the way Jesus loves!
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
