I am here to tell you this type of living by Christians is a horrible example to an unbelieving world!!! Copeland and others, like Joel Osteen, are living like Kings! Jesus was born in a stable! Jesus was and is not about possessions! This is a burning issue with me, because when I minister to people, many are barely making it in life. Many point to how the Church has turned into a business and all those “crazy rich Pastors’ on TV. I would not have them on the air if I was the owner! Horrible testimony! Horrible example! I cannot defend that type of behavior. I minister from our home office, many Pastors I know, do the same. I know a Pastor that lives at the Church he serves. Many Pastors hold down a full-time job so they can Pastor. Many like me, have a precious wife who works full-time to help fund the ministry. Travel rural New Mexico and you will find Pastors who are not ‘wealthy’ like some of these big-time TV Preachers, but they know JESUS and His ways and words very well, they live it.
So many will be shocked I beleive as to where Jesus will tip over tables when He returns. I just shake my head is disbelief as to the behavior of some Pastors and Churches. Now you know why I am not popular in this world, even with some Pastors. I call it the way I see it, from a Biblical Worldview. I have to add that I drive the ‘Jesus Car’ a gift years ago by Pastor Ruben and Lucy Gomez out of Midland, Texas. It is a 2006 Buick! It runs super because we take care of it. We do not need fancy dancy to serve JESUS! We take care of what God gives us. In all my years I have never had a Pastor friend with a new fancy car or truck, they put everything into the Bride of Christ. We have enough property so Daisy has a backyard! LOL!
Copeland and Osteen chase many away from The Church by the way they live! Sadly many see the Church in America as a money making business.

To conclude its multi-part investigation into the property-tax “sanctuaries” of religious organizations in Texas, the Houston Chronicle dug into the finances of televangelist Kenneth Copeland and his ministry’s Eagle Mountain International Church (EMIC), based in Fort Worth.
Copeland, one of America’s wealthiest pastors, lives on an 18,000-square-foot lakeside estate that has its own airport. A spokesman says the church “always abides by biblical guidelines” and also adheres to the various laws that apply to ministries. But critics claim the organization—and many others—takes advantage of loopholes and vaguely worded clergy-housing allowances, shifting tax burdens to other residents.
