Thankful For The Journey…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Christmas has passed and several thank you cards to send. The box with the thank you cards may have not made the move. It may be time to purchase some new. Every day we have much to be thankful for. Thankful for a God that journey’s every day with us and calls us his own. Thanksgiving for his goodness, his mercies that are new every morning, thankful for his faithfulness. In Christ alone we have much to be thankful for.
Today, let’s be thankful for the journey, the path we are on. He is working everything out for our good. That is his covenant promise. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the many blessings, blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of our womb is blessed, and the crops of our land and the young of our livestock – the calves of our herds and the lambs of our flocks. Our basket and your kneading is blessed. We are blessed when we come in and blessed when we go out. The Lord has granted that the enemies who rise up against us will be defeated before us. They will come at us from one direction but flee from us in seven. The Lord sent us a blessing on our barns and on everything we put our hand to. The Lord our God blesses us in the land he is giving us. The Lord has established us as his holy people, as he promised. (Duet. 28)
Father, thank you for journeying the day with us. Show us the way we should go today. Amen.
