Vision To Rise Higher…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday the worship team sang this song, On Eagles Wings, and my heart immediately began to worship. God takes the most unlikely circumstances, people and does the most amazing things.
I chuckle here in Maine when traveling on Interstate I-95. There is a sign that reads caution eagles. I believe it means they are low flying. I like to declare that Maine is full of eagles, ready to soar with new vision. Without a vision, people perish (Proverbs 29:18) God’s Word tells us.
History has it that the eagle has the sharpest vision of all birds. Maybe that’s why I love to do vision boards. It helps me to see where I am going, while I trust God to order my footsteps, even when traveling the path called the unknown on a flight I never traveled before.
How about you? Are you ready to soar? Have your wings been down too long? Today, let’s ask God to sharpen our vision, to lift our wings higher and tell him we are ready to go to new heights.
Let’s Pray:
Father, today we pray you will direct our footsteps. Your Word tells us whatever we ask in prayer, believe that we have received it, and it will be ours. (Mark 11:24)
Father, Your Word tells us once again in Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Father, today we raise our wings higher, because we are ready to go up to a new place, higher in you. No low flying eagles, here. Amen.
