This morning let’s pray about our words. Words have power. The Bible tells us life and death are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) Let’s not allow our hearts to grow cold from offenses, hurts, words that were spoken, but let’s keep our hearts ablaze with fresh wind, fresh fire from God’s Word. No burr’s in our hearts allowed. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, Matthew 15:11 Tells us this; What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them. Also, Proverbs 4:23 tells us Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Father, examine our hearts this morning as we pray Psalm 51:10 Create in us a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us.
Father, we pray wounds would be healed from words that were spoken all across this globe this morning. Empower us to be people to speak good things, lovely things, excellent things.
Father, we pray that our love would abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment. (Philippians 1:9) Amen.
