Children are a heritage from the Lord
Pictured at the very top is Connie and grandson William. JOY!
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:13-14
God, in His grace, takes an interest in the life of every conception, for each one is specially created.
The Lord forms and fashions every single one, and the psalmist rejoices that God lays out the life-plan of each – and schedules every day of our life.
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.
Psalm 127:3
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Deuteronomy 6:6-7
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Psalm 139:15-16
The Lord has definitely blessed us. We have 4 Grandsons that are a true blessing to us.
The youngest is William, he brings so much joy to our lives.
Being a mom is so great, and being a grandmother brings unimaginable joy. I feel Gods love through it all.
When I’m holding William and I see the innocence of a child, it really blesses me to know that God entrusted us with this precious gift.
As parents and grandparents, we see that God is the true Father of our children. Parents are stewards of God’s children, taking part in the raising of them, but knowing that they truly belong to the Lord.
So, remember;
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6
Many Blessings,
Connie
