Staying In Peace And Prayer, When The World Is Turned Upside Down…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I re-read a prayer I wrote years ago and wanted to pray it again today. So many people, going through difficult circumstances and with the additional attack on Ukraine at times people don’t know how to respond. I thought about all the anxieties going on all around us. From folks carrying diagnosis of cancer, COVID-19, parents with children with substance use disorders, prayers for people going through tough financial situations, and the list is endless. However, we need to remind ourselves that Jesus has the answer for every person and every situation. He has never failed us yet. Amen? Amen.
Today, let’s determine we will walk in peace everyday no matter what comes our way until God turns our upside-down world right side up. We pray on…
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for peace. No matter what is going on in the world around us, we can have peace through Jesus. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)
Father, your Word tells us in John 14:27 peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Father, Jesus tells us in John 16:33, I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
Father, thank you for the peace that transcends all understanding. Amen.
