FGGAM stands against gambling, always has and always will. Compulsive gambling, also called gambling disorder, is the uncontrollable urge to keep gambling despite the toll it takes on your life. Gambling means that you’re willing to risk something you value in the hope of getting something of even greater value. The America Church is very silent on this issue. Gambling and casinos are like termites, they eat away at the foundation of families. Gambling disorder. We have posted reports over the years as to the evils gambling that lead to, divorce, drugs, sex, booze, bankruptcy, crime and on and on WHY IS GAMBLING BAD FOR SOCIETY…..Casinos in New Mexico were approved thinking it would ‘save the state’ money, money for roads and education! Look were all that money has gotten us! I am an old preacher, It seems I have gone against the grain in all my years here on earth, not with what is the latest fad in ther American Church, I preach basic Christianity, Biblical principles and a Biblical Worldview. Signs You Might Have a Gambling Problem
This Years Super Bowl is the largest sports betting event ever
A Biblical Worldview is held by only 6% of Americans. IT SHOWS!!!
From Christian New Now and Christianity Today Today:
(Christianity Today) The 1990s were a busy time for Christians combatting gambling at local levels: fighting a casino here or lottery expansions there.
Tom Grey, a Methodist minister, traveled 250 days a year with the National Coalition Against Legalized Gambling, which now goes by the name Stop Predatory Gambling. He can remember major wins, like keeping a casino out of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, with the help of filmmaker Ken Burns.
“The problem is [gambling companies] just have to win once, and they’ve got it,” Grey said. “Mayors and other people would stand up and say, ‘We don’t want your casino.’ Now there aren’t choices any longer. Churches feel it’s over.”
Grey, 81, is retired, but now he is watching the latest iteration of the industry take off: sports betting.
The words that hit me were, ‘the average age of a sex slave in America is 13 years old!’ I do not know what to say! I thank Bri Lamm and ‘Faith It’ for brining this horrific problem to our attention, it is worse than ever! I am so very heart broken. Please pray with me that this issue gets more attention in America and more will be done to end this work of Satan. Abortion and sex slavery in America, we do so much harm to God’s children. What good are we? We are not a good Country. Shame on us. We live in an America that I do not recognize. So many people have made politics their God, supporting evil politicians. We live in a Country that thugs attacked our Nations Capitol and many do not even see the evil behind this act of terror! Our nation came close to being destroyed. Many fools defend this attack!!! They also defend evil politicians. Christians must be very careful who they stand with in politics, which is the playground of Satan. Many in America our blinded by Satan. Only 6% of this Country believes in a Biblical Worldview. I can smell hell from here. Way too many Christians have put politics before God. Way too many Christians have supported evil politicians. BE HOLY! Strive for purity! I pray that people see Jesus in you and me!
I will spend the rest of my life ministering to all people.
The average age of a sex slave in America is 13 years old.
Yep, you read that correctly. “Slavery,” “America,” and “13 years old” all in one sentence.
When we think about a sex slave, most of us probably have this very sensationalized Hollywood perception of what that phrase actually means.
We think of Liam Neeson moving heaven and earth to rescue his daughter in Taken, or Mariska Hargitay helping a victim on Law and Order SVU. Perhaps you visualize dirty, ragged girls, chained to beds, or even foreign children in a faraway land.
Sex Slaves Tell Their Story of Breaking Free from Human Trafficking
From Charles Stanley:
The difference between hearing and doing seems fairly obvious, and yet many people fail to recognize the distinction—or the fact that the two should be more closely related. Take the parent-child relationship, for example. Moms and dads give directions and expect their children to follow through with action. We all know, however, that such instructions are often unheard or disregarded.
Think about how that applies to what our heavenly Father tells His children. He has given us His Word not just to hear but to obey. Yet how often do we hear the proper instructions or warnings but fail to do what Scripture says? In some instances, it’s a matter of not caring enough to obey; at other times our own interests lead us away from God’s commands and toward our own desires.
Do you merely hear the Word, or do you also do what it says? (See James 1:22.) The danger is that in failing to apply God’s words of wisdom, we can easily be led into all sorts of foolish pursuits. Isaiah 53:6 warns that our natural tendency is to turn to our own way and go astray like lost sheep. That’s why it’s essential to listen and obey our Good Shepherd as He guides us with His Word.
This news is relevant to Sunday’s Super Bowl in ways that might not be obvious but are deeply significant for our lives today.
From CHURCHLEADERS:
After the confetti falls Sunday at the close of Super Bowl LVI, the victors will accept the coveted Lombardi Trophy. But for some Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams players, pursuing a deeper relationship with Jesus takes priority over football.
The big game kicks off February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., the Rams’ home field. Here’s a look at a few notable Christian athletes who will represent their teams—and their Savior—on football’s biggest stage.
