A Very Simple Message…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I love the book of Jeremiah and if you knew my story you would understand why. Jeremiah 32:40 tells us that God has made an everlasting covenant with us, and he will never stop doing good to us. His love is agape, and it lasts a whole lifetime. From the time we are created to our very last breath, we are a loved people.
I was telling one of my stories from the past of how I wanted to share my faith, but I was afraid I would miss a step and mess the persons opportunity up to receive the best gift ever, Jesus. I remember after several classes telling God I just couldn’t remember all these steps and I sure didn’t want to forget anything. I remember just like it was yesterday, he said Angel, I put my words in your mouth. (Jeremiah 1:9) The gospel of Jesus Christ is very simple, man has complicated it.
As I prepared to speak at a writer’s conference one particular Sunday, I was confident of exactly what I would say. I practiced and had my notes all prepared. I felt good about it all. Then when I went on stage to speak, something totally different came out. It was different than what I had prepared. As I went back to my seat, I felt a bit flushed and inquired of God, what just happened? His reply was this, I answered your prayer. You prayed that you would get out of the way, and I would shine through, and I answered your prayer. God, couldn’t you have made us both look good, I took it a bit further. I forgot to mention my Good Morning Beautiful People Book that I was on stage to tell them about, as I chuckled to myself and God. I did however tell them about the most important book, the Bible and how they were there by divine appointment and needed to buy it, read it, believe it, upload it, download it, but they needed to get their hands on the most valuable book, the Holy Bible. Everyone needs one, everyone.
It’s fun serving Jesus. He does answer, when we call. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:1-5)
Father, thank you for putting the words in our mouths as we share the simple gospel message. Jesus loves people, died for people and wants to journey life every day with his people. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Read your Bible and ask God for revelation. He will answer.
