Leaning and Trusting In God
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Trusting in the Lord is being persuaded that He is willing and able to do what He says he is going to do . We need to have confidence in God and trust in Him.
Most of us will face disappointments, but when we trust in God and lean on him and not try to figure things out but to rest in Him and surrender all to Him . Acknowledge him and he will direct your path. (Proverbs 3:6)
Reach out to him in prayer for he hears and knows all of our needs.
Psalm 55:17 Evening, morning, and noon I cry out in distress and he hears my voice.
Psalm 118:5 In my anguish I cried to the Lord and he answered by setting me free. The Lord is with me I will not be afraid, what can man do to me.
Rest in God’s love though we may face difficulties , and may even wonder at times does God really care? Or why is this happening to me? Where is God when I need him? He promised that he is always with us.
Deuteronomy 31:6 He will never leave you nor forsake you.
In the midst of our trials God is with us and uses those challenges to shape us. No longer do we see our failures, instead we see then as moments when God as our loving Father which works in us will deliver us.
James 1:2 Consider it pure joy my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete not lacking anything.
Isaiah 12:2 Surely God is my salvation I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord the Lord is my strength and my song he has become my salvation.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace whose mind is steadfast because he trust in you Trust in the Lord forever , for the Lord , the Lord is the Rock eternal.
Trusting in God takes a wholehearted commitment for we are never alone
Matthew 28:20 And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age.
When we trust God he will pour out his blessings upon blessings upon us .
Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the Lord is good blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Lord my heart is fixed on trusting in you and will not lean on my own ability. For true joy and blessings come from trusting in you with all my heart. Thank you Lord for your great faithfulness. I give you thanks and praise as I rest in your love for you are my strength and salvation . Amen
