Why do so many of our leaders talk about religion yet defy God in everything they do?

From the writings of the Rev. Billy Graham

Q: Why do so many of our national leaders talk about prayer and religion yet defy God in everything they do? What can Christians do to sound the alarm? – D.G.

A: Down through history our nation’s leaders have carried their plans and hopes to God in prayer. Yet today we have come to a place where prayer in our national life is simply a ritual, a formality. There is no sense of coming earnestly to God. This …

The two party system has been broken for years, but the last 7 years or so it has been hell. Both parties are splintered and have lost their way more than ever. It has been hell for the American people. Both sides love eating their own. Time for the JESUS party!

I have written about this voting fiasco……One man really attacked me for reporting on this yesterday. He got on me like this is my first rodeo! LOL! So be it! He was a delegate at the New Mexico GOP Pre-primary Convention, which was a disaster. Not allowing Rebecca Dow’s family to vote????? THAT’S A FAIR ELECTION???????? Help me out on that GOP!!!!????? Please let me know your answer!!! The Santa Fe New Mexican is reporting that and I have seen that in other media outlets. How many delegates left before voting because of the voting malfunction??? Was it 30? Was it 90? It would be great if the GOP would come clean with some answers! If the GOP can dish it out, they should be able to take the heat. I am a registered Independent. I take a Biblical Worldview, not a political view. Listen I have been lied to by Republicans in New Mexico in my past, I have been threatened by a GOP candidate in the past, on and on, I could write a book. LOOK FOR THE FRUIT TEAM JESUS! I am not a popular man with any political party! That is awesome! I STAND FOR GOD AND ALL PEOPLE! NOT JUST A SEGMENT OF THE POPULATION! I am not as Pastor/Watchman on the Wall to be popular. The GOP in New Mexico has been a mess for years, as has the Dems. The GOP in New Mexico needs new leadership for sure, it can’t even run its own election.  Listen, the GOP had 8 years of Susana Martinez running the state, her administration went up in flames at the end. Do you remember how much tax payers paid out because of misbehavior in her term?  Do your own research. I will vote for a candidate, not a party. Both are so very dysfunctional, this is one of the key reasons New Mexico is so very, very dysfunctional. Vet your candidates with the Word of God. Many people assume I am a Republican, I was at one time, but then the party turned so very dysfunctional, as did the Dems. Belonging to a political party would be like me belonging to a dysfunctional Church. I want no part of dysfunction.

The two party system in America has been broken for years….both parties have failed to serve ‘we the people.’ WE NEED A JESUS PARTY!!!!!!! Yes, I am crazy for JESUS! Amen!

As my hero President Harry Truman used to say……

If you can’t stand the heat in the kitchen, get out!

Santa Fe New Mexican: So much for being able to run an election

Remember this from December of 2020, when the New Mexico GOP Had Two Different Election Results?

I also want to pass along this message to you all, which is unrelated to the above reporrt, but it is very important information from The Secretary of State:

Secretary of State and Attorney General Issue Voter Risk Advisory After Problematic Reports Emerge About Otero County Election Audit; Hotline Available to Voters

SANTA FE – Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver and Attorney General Hector Balderas released information today reminding New Mexican voters about their rights to privacy after problematic reports have emerged as a third-party election “audit” is being conducted in Otero County.

The Otero County Commission recently authorized a controversial “audit” of the 2020 election to be conducted by a third-party organization called New Mexico Audit Force. Part of the New Mexico Audit Force’s activities involve deploying canvassers to go door-to-door throughout Otero County interrogating voters about their personal information and their participation in the 2020 General Election.

This activity has caught many Otero County residents off guard as they are being approached at their doorsteps by New Mexico Audit Force canvassers who are not employed by Otero County, yet who are claiming to be representatives of the county. According to the Otero County Attorney, these canvassers have not been subjected to any background checks and according to Erin Clements, director of the New Mexico Audit force, when speaking to the Otero County Commission, “We would introduce ourselves as ‘New Mexico Audit Force’ and not mention the county at all.” There are estimated to be about 60 canvassers currently in Otero County.

Voters in Otero County and across New Mexico should be aware of their rights regarding the privacy of their ballots and their voter information. Here are some things voters should know about their rights and about voter protections New Mexico already has in place:

●      Who you vote for on your ballot is secret. No one, not even election administrators, can tell what your ballot choices were in any election.

●      Through limited publicly-available voter data, it is possible to tell your party affiliation (or lack thereof) and if you voted in a particular election. This data can only be obtained by certain groups, like academic organizations and political parties. The New Mexico Audit Force is not one of these specified groups and has not obtained New Mexico voter data from our office. But, again, your specific ballot choices are always secret.

●      You are not required (nor can you be compelled) to provide information about who you voted for, why you voted, any personal information, or what your voting experience was like to anyone.

●      You are not required to participate in this so-called “audit” or provide any information unless you choose to do so.

●      New Mexico’s county clerks and Secretary of State already have mandatory vote count verification and election audit procedures in place after every election to ensure the accuracy of election results. New Mexico also uses 100% paper ballots in every election and voting machines are never connected to the internet.

The Secretary of State’s Office and the Office of the Attorney General take reports of voter intimidation and harassment seriously. If you or someone you know has been harassed or intimidated during this ongoing canvassing in Otero County, contact the Office of the Attorney General at 1-844-255-9210 or file a complaint online through the Attorney General’s website.

Holy Cow…….The sparks are flying! I can see it from our house! I have heard from GOP folks that are upset that Ronchetti entered the race late. He sure has raised a lot of money and has some political ‘big shots’ behind him. I understand it is made of of some of the folks from the Susanna Martinez team, not good as far as I am concerned. Martinez lied to me and had me wait almost 2 hours for meeting with her and then I was finally told she could not see me. Martinez also promised KKIM listeners the night she was first elected that she would end abortion. In 8 years she failed to do so. She failed in many, many ways. Ronchetti sends me a lot of emails wanting money. It is not the first time a Republican has given me the ‘dickens’. I should write a book about my days in radio someday! LOL! One of the parishioners at FBC in Glenwood asked me Sunday why he was getting so many emails from Ronchetti! One of my best friends speaks much respect for Jay Block. I have had email conversations with Mr. Block and he passes my test. As far as Ronchetti is concerned, I am very fuzzy on his stance on abortion. My pro-life friends say he is to wishy-washy. I would say that Jay Block calls it like he sees it. There is much to say about that.

Some tough love for the GOP………

Controversy Continues to Surround The Voting Count From NM GOP Pre-Primary Convention

I did not have time in my day to reach out to GOP officials and ask about all the delegates that left the Convention without voting because of the long delay in getting to vote because of the malfunction with electronic voting. This is very puzzling to me, if I was a delegate I would stick around no matter what, and do my duty and vote! The GOP is not addressing this issue in their press releases. I am very concerned from what I am hearing about the GOP Convention, I am still concerned about the voting process. This is the third press release the GOP has had to send out to explain themselves! MY GOODNESS! I still wonder  if some candidates got the short end of the stick. This is not the first time the GOP has had problems with their Convention voting process. Time for a change in leadership! You better get your act together. Something as simple as voting, has become difficult for the New Mexico GOP. The GOP just has given the DEMS many new political commercials. All this is why I am an Independent, I will not be associated with any party, it would be like me being a member of a dysfunctional Church. I am a registered Independent. If you cannot run a simple election, your own primary, how can you run the state?

The GOP has good candidates, but the they just made it harder for their own.

Albuquerque, February 28–The Republican Party of New Mexico would like to confirm that the voting results at its Pre-Primary State Convention in Ruidoso on Saturday are final, and the election is over. There’s been speculation that some votes were not included, and this is a falsehood. State Delegates used paper ballots, and all ballots were counted accurately and appropriately. The entire process was under the supervision of the Party’s Tabulation Chair, Amy Barela.

“I know with 100% certainty that the tallying of the ballots was exact and done with extreme precision and accuracy,” said Barela. “We had well-organized teams working diligently and carefully, and some campaigns had representatives observing the counting and certification of the paper ballots. The entire process demonstrated transparency and precision and again shows RPNM’s commitment to election integrity.”

From Yesterday:

FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”

Franklin Graham, “A Biblical Worldview in Today’s Culture”

My tough love message……….

I posted the results of the NM GOP Pre-Primary Convention about 3am Sunday before I left to preach at The First Baptist Church in Glenwood, New Mexico. I would have written more yesterday but I did not have time. it was a 500 mile trip, I got home at 6pm. I so much love rural New Mexico. It is a blessing to get away from the chaos of they city. I had heard from two reliable friends about many delegates leaving the convention because of the delay in voting, a glitch in the electronic voting system. They had to switch to paper ballots. During this time, over 30 delegates left, they would not wait. One friend told me it was closer to 90. If your a delegate, do you not have the responsibility to wait?  Help me out on that? I wanted to share with you how the Santa Fe New Mexican reported this mess. If the GOP wants the Governors seat, they better start behaving like adults. Politics is so very dysfunctional, a leading cause of the mess we are in as a country. I strive to remain unbiased when reporting. The GOP has good candidates, they should strive to get along. Infighting does no good, don’t mess it up, your just showing the Dems what they want to see, eating your own. The New Mexico GOP should consider a leadership change at the top. This dysfunction has held the party back. A true leader would nip this in the bud. Many Republicans have told me over the years, “We eat our own.”

Show our children, the future of our Country, what it means to be a true leader, a peacemaker, bringing people together for the cause.

I always tell Christians to behave themselves, show people JESUS! Your bad behavior shows unbelievers just what it wants to see from Christians.

I wouldn’t let any politician organize my garage sale!

Ronchetti steps up damage control after poor finish at GOP convention

Yesterday while I was preaching at FBC in Glenwood, New Mexico I got this update below from the NM GOP! BOY! They sure need to check their own voting systems! I believe this is the second time this has happened to the GOP at their convention in recent times when Eddy Aragon raised holy cane about the voting process. Now the GOP has corrected the vote tally for one candidate from this past weeks convention:

CORRECTION IN PRE-PRIMARY STATE CONVENTION VOTE
Albuquerque, February 27–The Republican Party of New Mexico would like to provide the following correction regarding the percentage of vote for 1st Congressional District candidate Michelle Garcia Holmes at the Pre-Primary State Convention yesterday: she received 28% of the vote, not 42%. Garcia Holmes will still be on the ballot in June.

FGGAM Received the final results overnight. There was a delay in releasing the results after the electronic voting system encountered glitches. RPNM moved to its back-up plan to have paper ballots.

Here is the press release we received:

NEW MEXICO REPUBLICAN DELEGATES AT PRE-PRIMARY STATE CONVENTION ELECT SLATE OF CANDIDATES FOR JUNE 2022 PRIMARY ELECTION

Ruidoso, NM, February 26– Today nearly 1,000 Republicans from around New Mexico took part in the RPNM Pre-Primary State Convention. Hundreds of delegates, selected from their counties to attend the Convention, elected Primary candidates for governor, lieutenant governor and New Mexico’s three Congressional seats for New Mexico’s June 7, 2022 Primary Election. Candidates for four statewide offices were unopposed.

The votes capped an exciting and successful Pre-Primary State Convention administered by Convention Chair and RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce. The Convention included speeches by the 16 candidates.

Voters decided that the following candidates will be placed on the Republican Primary slate for the June 7 Primary Election:

In the governor’s race, Jay Block received the most votes and will top the ballot. Rebecca Dow and Greg Zanetti also got enough votes to be on the ballot.

In the lieutenant governor’s race, Anthony Thornton will be the only GOP candidate on the ballot.

In the 1st Congressional District race, Louis Sanchez will top the ballot. Michelle Garcia Holmes is also on the ballot.

In the 2nd Congressional District race, incumbent Rep. Yvette Herrell, who was unopposed, will be on the ballot.

In the 3rd Congressional District race,  Alexis Martinez Johnson will be on the ballot.

The following candidates were all unopposed and will be on the ballot:

Secretary of State: Audrey Trujillo                 100%    681 votes
Attorney General: Jeremy Gay                         100%    678  votes
State Treasurer: Harry Montoya                      100%    679  votes
Commissioner of Public Lands: Jeff Byrd    100%    670  votes

“This has been a spectacular Convention,” said Convention Chairman and Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “It was a magnificent display of Party unity and commitment to our mission, and you could feel the energy and confidence as we head full steam into this important election year. We have elected a top-flight group of candidates who are focused, diverse and who all adhere to conservative principles and values. The Republican Party of New Mexico is very excited with this slate of candidates, and we have continued confidence that our Party will lead the way for much-need change in our state’s leadership and direction.”

In order for candidates to get their name on the Primary ballot, they must receive at least 20% of the vote. Those candidates who received less may still get on the ballot by collecting more signatures to try to qualify.

Here’s a look at the voting results:

Governor:

  1. I read your article on the debacle going on with both of New Mexico’s main political parties and also how so many politicians use the name of God just to be seen favorably as Christians when they’re running for office. Many of them even quote scripture. However, they deny the Lord with their actions and they’re decisions once they get elected. I left the Republican party for those exact same reasons and now I am an Independent supporting Karen Bedonie for governor. She not only honors the Lord with her words, but also with the way she conducts herself even when the crowds have left. I know that in one of your past articles you had mentioned that we needed a strong third party candidate, well now we have one and I believe she is the best candidate for governor of our great state.
