Where Is Your Treasure?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I was thinking about treasures. God’s Word tells us this in Matthew 6:19-21.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
People are important to God. They are so important that he gave willingly his only son Jesus to die for us. (John 3:16)
Today, let’s pray for all people. Let’s pray for the world.
Father, thank you for Jesus, the light of the world. He is our greatest treasure. Jeremiah 31:3 tells us that we can call on him and he will answer.
Today we lift up the fires raging in New Mexico. We pray the wind would cease and the rain would fall. Fall fresh on New Mexico today God, fall fresh on them. May they see the light of your glory, we pray.
Father, we pray for all the people created in your image around this world today. We know from the book of Genesis that would be everyone. You know, oh God, what they have need of before they even ask. Give them a fresh encounter with the living, loving God.
Father, today we continue to thank you for being our greatest treasure. Journeying life with you and the inheritance we receive is our daily bread. You have everything we have need of already in the Kingdom of God. Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first your kingdom and your righteousness, and all these things will be added unto us.
Thank you for making a way in the wilderness for your people. We continue to pray peace on earth and goodwill to men. (Luke 2:14) Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s precious people. Pray the Word of God over your situation today. Hallelujah!
