AIR QUALITY FORECAST

Smoke from the Black wildfire (west of T or C) and the Bear Trap wildfire (west of Socorro) is expected to impact Albuquerque at levels that may be problematic for individuals with respiratory problems. Higher concentrations of smoke will likely begin between 4 PM and 5 PM and last for several hours. As this afternoon’s southerly winds shift to westerly this evening, the smoke is expected to gradually clear out of Albuquerque this evening.

OPINION: The Destruction of New Mexico Forests, Ranches and Homes By The Forest Service is Very, Very Sad……

Spot on by my friend Debbie Lee of rural New Mexico, thank you Debbie for allowing us to share your message with our FGGAM family!

I try to keep my FB page positive and not rant or allow it, but I gotta vent a bit. The devastating fires….💔The poor livestock and ranchers due to the wolves….💔The loss of logging and ranching started several years ago. The old timers such as Dick Manning, Brub Stone, Skip Price and others warned agencies catering to the wrong side back in the 80’s and 90’s as did ranchers and miners and every day concerned citizens with good old common sense. I worked for Gene Ballinger writing history articles and covered the arguments of one side against the other in the Hatch Courier. Yes, I was biased and proud of it. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I’ll be darn …those old timers were right. Imagine that.💔I don’t blame the local people that work because they need a job with the USFS and other agencies. But the decision makers, whoever or wherever ….Wow! Illogical decisions continue to be made in my opinion. I don’t know who is accountable… but Darn💔This post is all in my opinion but I’m stubborn when I take a stance that I believe in with full heart and soul. I appreciate our local logging company for staying in business and helping keep the forest healthier in our area. The destruction is sad. Very, Very Sad. Add in the cases of nonsensical prescribed burns at the worst windy and driest of times….. Look who it hurts….everybody.💔💔💔All of this hurts everybody I know 360 degrees around my area and beyond. I have property in Apache Creek, the bridge on the hwy has silted in over the years due to the Willow Fly Catcher “Holy Lands” (as one old timers views it) on the other side. Let’s not even go there…it’s another royal mess related to flooding. My heart goes out to those that have suffered losses in the way of homes, property, animals and income and all the stress that comes with the territory. I feel for ya! My heart bleeds for ya! I just wished they would have listened. ⚘️ God Bless You ⚘️❤️⚘️❤️⚘️Prescribed burns have caused some of the largest fires in New Mexico

More from Today from FGGAM News and Pastor Dewey Moede:

Everything in our lives is spiritual, are you in line with God? New Mexico and all of America are not. Only 6% of America has a Biblical Worldview, from Barna Research.

Yesterday I traveled to Los Alamos, New Mexico to preach at the Open Bible Ministry at the invitation of Pastor Paul Jaramillo. It was such a blessing to be with these folks. On the way back I saw four different huge columns of smoke. I saw two from my view in Pojoaque and two from Santa Fe. I think of all the people who have lost their homes, livestock, everything they have worked for over the years, I pray for all the Firefighters, I pray and pray. We need a year of prayer here in New Mexico, seeking the face of JESUS and ask for forgiveness of all of our sins. We are in dire shape here in so many ways, we are spiritually dry. We are an evil state. DO YOU NOT SEE?????? It is so simple to see the evil, you must not hide from it! Satan has blinded many here in New Mexico, it is a state filled with so many anti-god people, our state government is filled with them. We even have an inept Forest Service here Feds Must Shape Up and Pay Up! Poll: 6 of 10 New Mexicans Would Leave For a Better Life! Who Can Turn NM Around? JESUS!

Hindrances to Prayer

I think many are pretending that this is all going to go away. It is not. We kill God’s babies and we commit so many, many sins, so many murders, child abuse, child hunger…on and on. God is angry with us for sure. I preached on this yesterday. Have we become so foolish that we think we can kill babies and get away with it scot-free??????? Do not be foolish!

Pastor Leonard Navarre wrote this at FGGAM:

In my opinion, here in America, I believe God is angry, and His wrath is just simmering.  Judgment is coming.  We look around us and see the birth pains.  The preliminary events leading to His ultimate wrath.  We have heard His voice, read His Word and know that He keeps His promises.  When we turn our back on him, God sends warnings thru nature and events to get our attention.  Fires, drought, inflation, recession, etc are all coming down on us to get our attention and help us turn back to Him.  But as the people of old…WE ARE NOT TURNING BACK TO HIM.  God’s wrath is always given because of sin, rebellion and disobedience.

God’s mercy is overwhelming, but there is an end to his patience when there is rampant wickedness and no change in behavior…i.e.the worldwide flood.  Genesis 6

So here comes the warnings:

“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.” (Romans 1:18).

“But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.” (Romans 2:5).

There were warnings throughout the prophets because of oppression of the poor, sexual immorality, wanton luxury, corrupt laws, adultery, divorce, drunkenness, plunder, greed even robbing God of His tithe.  Time after time he sent prophet after prophet to warm the people to turn from their evil ways.  But, listen to what the prophet Amos says:

““I did not give you any food in your cities, and there was not enough to eat in any of your towns, but you did not come back to me,” says the Lord. “I held back the rain from you three months before harvest time. Then I let it rain on one city but not on another. Rain fell on one field, but another field got none and dried up. People weak from thirst went from town to town for water, but they could not get enough to drink. Still you did not come back to me,” says the Lord. “I made your crops die from disease and mildew. When your gardens and your vineyards got larger, locusts ate your fig and olive trees. But still you did not come back to me,” says the Lord. “I sent disasters against you, as I did to Egypt. I killed your young men with swords, and your horses were taken from you. I made you smell the stink from all the dead bodies, but still you did not come back to me,” says the Lord. “I destroyed some of you as I destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick pulled from a fire, but still you did not come back to me,” says the Lord. “So this is what I will do to you, Israel; because I will do this to you, get ready to meet your God, Israel.””

Amos 4:6-12 NCV

Hear this friends:  “all these birth pangs but STILL YOU DID NOT COME BACK TO ME, God says.

One more warning, BUT God gives a solution to avoiding having His wrath boiling over:

““I may stop the sky from sending rain. I may command the locusts to destroy the land. I may send sicknesses to my people. Then if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, if they will pray and seek me and stop their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:13-14 NCV

I Believe God is angry

It is only May, and look and see……..Oh New Mexico, my heart breaks for you!
