FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday, we have been now for almost 10 years as of this coming August. Before that at KKIM Christian Radio in Albuquerque for almost 8 years and since 1997, on Dewey’s Daily Cup. We have worked hard to be consistent in our LORD!
“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”
The death of a Biblical Worldview in America…..I am not a popular man in this world, I do not seek the approval of man, but I am with JESUS. I have seen and see to many Pastors and Christians wanting to be popular with the world. JESUS and Paul are my top role models along with my wife Sharon, not the world. I got asked a lot the first 4 to 5 years, “Are you going to start a Church?” NO, God did not call me and Sharon to start a Church. There is a Church on every street corner in Albuquerque and it is still going to hell. I remember when God was forming FGGAM, and the late Pastor Ray Franks told me, “Dewey, do not start a Church, we have them on every street corner.” Amen! I learned a lot from Pastor Ray. So many Churches struggle with 10 to 15 people. We are carrying out The Great Commission Worldwide, with FGGAM.ORG, Social media, newspaper, radio, JESUS car street ministry, fill-in Pastor, many opportunities to share JESUS at funerals, baptisims and weddings. We operate out of our home with about 15 volunteers.
I beleive with my heart, and I have said this for years, the American Church has failed to carry out THE GREAT COMMISSION. The American Church fell in love with buildings and built kingdoms unto themselves. As we said in ‘the day’ the proof is in the pudding. It is all our fault. Stop blaming others, look into the mirror and seek Jesus not yourself.
As the Church goes, the country goes…….
This really does not surprise me as we see the ‘falling away’ play out in America. The Church as a whole is failing to hold to God’s Word. Many Pastors have fallen away and left. Many selling their wares, grasping for stardom in America, instead they should be seeking JESUS! We are in bad shape. Too many high school pep rally’s, no salt, not preaching the full gospel. Matthew 5:13, says, “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” Many have turned the Church into Hollywood! Smoke and mirrors, big screens, performance driven. I have seen so many high school type pep rally’s here in New Mexico, it makes me ill. This has been going on now for years and it just gets worse. I have said for years when JESUS returns He will be turning tables over in many Churches. The Church and Pastors will be held accountable as to what they have done to the Bride of Christ.
Long-time Pastor Don Kimbro of Albuquerque says, “Many pastors (again in my opinion) may be too busy trying to keep up with the three B’s: Budgets, Buildings and Butts (in the pews). Is God still looking for men like the “sons of Issachar who understood the times” (1 Chronicles 12:32)?” Globalism is Rising
From FAITHWIRE:
Preachers who hold to a biblical worldview are in the minority, apparently.
A “shocking” new survey from researcher and pollster George Barna of the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University found just 37% of U.S.-based pastors hold to a “biblical worldview.”
