“I Maintain My Joy”: The Life and Ministry of Watchman Nee

My Dear Freind John Paul Young posted this yesterday on his Facebook page: An article on Watchmen Nee just published in the Museum of the Bible’s online magazine. I thought you would enjoy it. I had the great joy of bring at the opening “ribbon cutting and ceremony.” Praise God.
Do you know the story of Watchman Nee? His life is one that has impacted my life and the ministry of FGGAM. I beleive we all can learn from this man, especially preachers. Many do not know what it really takes to impact the world for GOD! We all can learn so much from Watchman Nee. I was blessed years ago by Pastor Jim Montoya when he did a teaching on the life of Watchman Nee. Christians can learn so very, very much from him, so many Christians are wavered off the track of JESUS. Much of the church in America has turned ‘Hollywood.’ fancy dancy, smoke and mirrors, money, big buildings, big budgets. Long-time Pastor Don Kimbro of Albuquerque puts it this way, “Many pastors (again in my opinion) may be too busy trying to keep up with the three B’s: Budgets, Buildings and Butts (in the pews). Is God still looking for men like the “sons of Issachar who understood the times” (1 Chronicles 12:32)?
I would suggest reading some books written about Watchman Nee, you will learn much! It will inspire you so much in the LORD! AMEN!

Watchman NeeNi Tuosheng, or Nee T’o-sheng (Chinese倪柝聲pinyinNí Tuòshēng; November 4, 1903 – May 30, 1972), was a Chinese church leader and Christian teacher who worked in China during the 20th century. His evangelism was influenced by the Plymouth Brethren. In 1922, he initiated church meetings in Fuzhou that may be considered the beginning of the local churches. During his thirty years of ministry, Nee published many books expounding the Bible. He established churches throughout China and held many conferences to train Bible students and church workers. Following the Communist Revolution, Nee was persecuted and imprisoned for his faith and spent the last twenty years of his life in prison. He was honoured by Christopher H. Smith (RNJ) in the US Congress on July 30, 2009.[1]

The Church in America HAS lost its effect on American families:

From CBN: Love the research by George Barna!

Millennial moms and dads aren’t passing on a biblical worldview to their children, according to research conducted by Dr. George Barna at Arizona Christian University’s Cultural Research Center.   More Here

“Most of the parents of young children in America if they were to die today – probably would not wind up in heaven,” said Dr. Barna.

It’s a bold statement stemming from his study that suggests American parents are experiencing a worldview dilemma. It says the overwhelming majority of American parents today lack a biblical worldview.

FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”
