LET IT RAIN!

Pastor Jerry McCullah leads us in prayer:

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heavenfor He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”   (Matthew 5:43-48)

Father, You are the great I Am, the Creator of all things, to which You stated at the conclusion of that power-filled week of work, “It was very good!”   You are the sustainer of life, and You supply all the stuff of life to keep life going on.   We are so very grateful for all of Your blessings upon the earth; thank You for caring for the world that You so love.

Right now, dear God, there are several western states here in America which are suffering severe drought conditions, and one serious concern is the dryness and strong winds which increase fire conditions.   There are many states having multiple fires causing destruction of homes and lives; California, Texas, and New Mexico are leading the way with massive amounts of out of control, and costly fires.

Father, Your Word speaks of You preparing the rain in the heavens.   We are desperate for rain; much rain is needed and desired.   LORD, in Matthew 5 above, You are telling us to love our enemies, and You give us the high example of how You bless the good and the evil alike with the blessings of rain and all the natural things to promote good living.   And oh how I desire to be loving as You have shown.

I come to You seeking Your goodness and mercy for all who live in the Western United States; both the good and the evil ones; those who love You and those who do not.    We need rain; we must have rain to endure and survive.  We need You.  We need Your loving, compassionate help.   Father, I ask Your favor in sending Supernatural weather pattern changes across this dry and needy land.  LORD, let it rain!  Make it rain to end this widespread drought.  Glorify Yourself in the sparing of lives and possessions, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Best NM GOP Gov. Debate Yet! Our Forests! Water! Timber Industry! Border/Crime! KOAT TV Commitment 2022: Republican Gubernatorial Debate, Watch Here

I watched the debate around 4:30am today. It was a good debate as the questions were good and the all the candidates had enough time to share their solutions. To me, debates are good when you learn more about each candidate and it you gives you a bit of a different perspective and also confirms what you have thought about the candidates. The moderators at KOAT TV did an excellent job. The only glitch was that Greg Zanetti was hard to understand at times because of his microphone, it appeared to me that it was off center, he was speaking into it sideways, made it hard for me to clearing understand him at times. I loved the discussion on the states water issue and the solutions that came forth, as well as the discussion on our forests, prescribed burns and brining back the timber industry and the border issues and crime, catch and release.! Ethel Maharg was on the only candidate that said we need to bring back God into our state and Biblical principles and protect the unborn, that to me is our biggest issue in our state and nation. The candidates who participated were: Jay Block, Rebecca Dow, Ethel Maharg, Mark Ronchetti, and Greg Zanetti.

America’s top law enforcement agency, the Department of Homeland Security is bracing for “violence and unrest” once the Supreme Court officially announces its decision on Roe v. Wade this summer. Many are expecting the Court’s conservative majority to overturn the landmark Roe ruling, which legalized abortion nationwide back in 1973.

From CHURCHLEADERS:

(RNS) — Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone, who oversees the Archdiocese of San Francisco, announced on Friday (May 20) he is barring House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from taking Communion in churches he oversees, citing her support for abortion rights.

“After numerous attempts to speak with her to help her understand the grave evil she is perpetrating, the scandal she is causing, and the danger to her own soul she is risking, I have determined that the point has come in which I must make a public declaration that she is not to be admitted to Holy Communion unless and until she publicly repudiate her support for abortion ‘rights’ and confess and receive absolution for her cooperation in this evil in the sacrament of Penance,” Cordileone wrote in a letter sent to churchgoers in his archdiocese. More Here
