PRAY TEAM JESUS! Las Vegas, NM Facing Evacuations as Wildfire Gets Closer, No End in Sight to This Fire

Oh Lord we’re in such bad shape here in New Mexico, so many do not know you Lord here in New Mexico. We pray many will come to you we pray for repentance and forgiveness of sins! New Mexico expects You to bless this state, but we are terrible sinners .Oh Lord we’re in such bad shape my heart breaks, only you can save the state. We murder your children here in New Mexico through abortion and shootings, oh Lord we need you, but many go down the road with Satan. The fires are so bad Lord, many are losing homes and dreams for a better life. So many homes and ranch land have been destroyed. Lord I pray many come to know you through this on going tragedy, in Jesus name we pray, Amen

My heart is breaking much as the wildfires are burning up many homes. I got a text from a friend. She has been watching the wildfire activity in the Las Vegas area. Her sister lives in Buena Vista and has been evacuated. Many from her church in Rociada have lost their homes. There is no end in sight at this point.

I got this note from my friend Lena Duran: Well I spoke to my cousin Mary last night. It’s official my grandpa’s, uncle’s, aunt’s, cousins, homes/ cabins are gone. My dad’s former property where all the Duran’s were raised is gone! The church and cemetery where so many family members services were and buried! Our dad’s and ancestors worked so hard to protect and preserve this land! My older siblings and cousins have way more memories up home as my dad always called it! God’s Country! It feels like there was a death in the family! I’m continuing praying thanking God everyone is safe. Please pray for rain and a miracle!

I have no idea why there has not been a call for prayer for rain everyday at noon here in New Mexico! My goodness! Jesus is are only answer.

Evacuation Update 05/01/22 10:00 PM for San Miguel and Mora Counties
Las Vegas, NM 10: 00 PM
Crews are working diligently on fire perimeter. Winds are changing constantly and those, combined with low humidity and high temperatures keep the fire spreading at dangerous speeds and in different directions. Over the next two weeks, the majority of our days are listed as red flag days, with high winds, which will continue to make suppression efforts difficult. As evacuations statuses change, do not wait for in-person notification to evacuate. If your neighborhood is listed below, we encourage you to take action immediately. This is a long-term event, and we don’t anticipate having ‘control’ of this fire any time soon.
Community Evacuation Status in San Miguel and Mora Counties:
GO (mandatory full evacuation, colored green):
In San Miguel County, Big Pine, Canovas Canyon, Porvenir Canyon, El Porvenir, Lower Canyon Road, Gallinas and Trout Springs are still in Go status and residents are being urged to leave these areas now. Mineral Hill, San Pablo, Ojitos Frios and San Geronimo are also in GO status.
In Mora County, Penasco Blanco, South Carmen, Ledoux, Upper Morphy, Santiago Creek, Abuelo Puertocito, Rito Cebolla, Buena Vista, Golondrinas, North and South Mora, the area along 434 from Mora north to the State Park and Rainsville are all in Go status.

This emerging situation remains extremely serious and refusal to evacuate could be a fatal decision.
Road Closures:
In San Miguel County, State Road 65 at the post office, and CR A27 are closed. Eighth Street Extension at CR A14A (Pork Chop Hill Road) is closed. CR A11A, from Eighth Street Extension to Hwy 65 is closed. State Roads 105, 94, 266 and 276 remain closed. Hwy 518 from Hwy 161 to Storrie Lake is closed. CR A17 in Mineral Hill is closed.
Evacuees leaving Mora must utilize Hwy. 434, 442 or 518 North to Taos. These roads will be open for evacuation only. No reentry will be allowed, and road blocks will be in place.

UPDATED:

The Lord showed me months ago this was going to happen. New Mexico is so very, very dry….bone dry. I see vegetation dying in Albuquerque. If I was the Governor of New Mexico I would call for prayer everyday at noon for rain. I would call for all Churches to ring their bells at noon and all gather at area Churches. Why have so many Churches eliminated Church bells? The sound of them brings peace to a community! Amen! We must seek the face of JESUS, He is are only answer. This is a very dangerous situation, man cannot control these fires alone. At this point there is no end in sight to these wildfires. It is only the end of April, Oh JESUS! Forgive us of our sins.

So many are on harms way.

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — Thousands of firefighters battled destructive wildfires in the Southwest as more residents prepared to evacuate Friday into the weekend in northern New Mexico where strong winds and dangerously dry conditions have made the blazes hard to contain.

The biggest fire in the U.S. grew to more than 117 square miles (303 square kilometers) through the afternoon northeast of Santa Fe. Gusty winds prevented any aerial attacks by midmorning and crews lost some of the containment they had established in previous days.

The rapid rate of the spread of the fire was exceeding dire predictions.  More evacuations expected near dangerous Southwest wildfires

Let us pray!

From Pastor Mark Grothe:

Father, in Your Word you have said,

When I close the sky so that there is no rain, or command the locusts to destroy the land, or send sicknesses to my people and if my people who are called by my name become humble and pray, and look for me, and turn away from their evil ways, then I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now, my eyes are open, and my ears will pay attention to the prayers prayed in this place.” 2 Chronicles 7:13-15 ERV

We, Your People, in New Mexico, are coming to You and are seeking You. We are asking for Your Forgiveness for the things we have allowed or are involved in, like, late term abortion, gambling, drunkenness, legalized marijuana, debauchery, and many other things. We are not just asking for Forgiveness but for Your Help to turn from these things and the Strength to continue to not partake if there things or even to appear that we are ok with them. Help us to be more and more of The People of God that You would want us to be.

We are asking for Your Help for us to be Humble. Our Hope is that in doing so, we can lead others to do what is right. That in doing so, we can be The True Models of Your Love to others. That in doing so, we can help others in their times of crisis that they wouldn’t turn to things that keep them separate from You.

We are looking for You to do a Mighty Work of God in our hearts, lives, State and land. We are hoping for a Great Awakening of The Hearts of Your People. Our hope is that in this Great Awakening, not only would we be changed, but that it would cause a change in others around us that would bring a change everywhere.

Father, we really do want to turn from our evil ways. We know that they don’t bring You Glory. We know that they keep us from You.

Your Word also tells us,

“I write this letter to you who believe in the Son of God. I write so that you will know that you have eternal life now. We can come to God with no doubts. This means that when we ask God for things (and those things agree with what God wants for us), God cares about what we say. He listens to us every time we ask him. So we know that he gives us whatever we ask from him.” 1 John 5:13-15 ERV

As we come to You, our hope is that You would bring rains to us here in New Mexico. We have been in this drought for a long time. Our lands have become dry and have allowed for fires to kindle in multiple areas. These fires have caused many to flee from their homes and have caused lots of damage. We are asking for rains to not only bring us an abundance of water that we need but also to help aid in extinguishing these fires.

Father, we are asking You to watch over the families that are in the midst of these fires. We are also asking for You to protect those who are fighting these fires. Please, bring Your Protecting Hand over them and keep them covered from suffering loss and injury.

We are also asking You to Watch over our Law Enforcement Officers as it is getting tougher and tougher for them to do their jobs. Please Aid them to have the right discernment to do what is right. Please Protect them  from the stresses they deal with in every situation they are in.

We are asking You to Aid our first responders when they go out to provide any medical aid that may be required. Please Help them to provide the care for those whom they are helping

And lastly, we lift our leaders here up to You. We are asking You to Help them to Know You as they do the jobs they were elected for. Please Guide them to make the right decisions that would bring our State back in line with You and to become one that sets examples for others.

We thank You for all that You have done for us, all that You do for us, and all that You will do for us.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Let’s keep praying and seeking for Him

FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”

Pray for Sandoval county as firefighters have evacuated hundreds in the Jemez due to a blaze that threatens over 200 homes.

The Albuquerque Journal reports that due to extremely dry conditions and high winds residents of the communities of Sierra Los Pinos and Los Griegos are being asked to leave. Thankfully, there have been no injuries.

The blaze, called Cerro Pelado, is burning near the intersection of Forest Road 10 and NM Highway 4, seven miles east of Jemez Springs.

New Mexico is suffering severe drought conditions and high winds creating a tinderbox for several fires across the state. Be in prayer that the winds lessen and the rains return and pray for the safety of the many people that are affected.
